Back to Basics - Getting it Right // Chris McNaughton
Love God & Love Others. This is how Jesus himself summed it all up. So…did we do it? 2000 years later, is that what the church is known for? No? How did we get it so wrong? How did we get so lost along the way? What would it look like if we actually got this right? In part 2 we look at the golden rule we will use to simplify our spiritual life and be getting Back to Basics.

    INTRO: Was it for Me?

    INTRO: Was it for Me?

Welcome (officially) to the new season of In Faith! Today we introduce this session as we ask ourselves an old question reimagined: when you prioritize, when you choose an action, a path, an idea--who do you do it for? Yourself? Your spouse? Your parents? Your friend? If you consider yourself a follower of Christ, do you do it for him? I would encourage you to--and I do, in this episode!

The Little Things - Part 4 // Chris McNaughton

The Little Things - Part 4 // Chris McNaughton
Take a look at the people around you. Most of them work similar jobs, have similar relationships, and live in similar houses. Yet, some how their lives play out very differently. Why are some happy and some sad, some fit and some overweight, some rich and some poor? In most cases, it all comes down to the small decisions they made along the way. Decisions that either makes their lives better or worse. What if, a better life for you was only a few small decisions away?

Changing Lanes - Authentic Storytelling // Scott Landry

Changing Lanes - Authentic Storytelling // Scott Landry
One of the best things about a road trip is the stories that are born out of that time together, and the stories that are told between point A and point B. Here’s an interesting thought. Whether you’re in the driver’s seat or the passenger’s seat, someday you’ll be driving with someone who will be sharing their story with you, and what they’ll need in that moment to help them get through isn’t a Bible story, but the truth of your story.

    Blessed in all the mess

    Blessed in all the mess
After challenging the folks at Corinth, Paul reminds them in 1 Corinthians 4 he is a regular guy who is working hard, has no real place to call home, and he feels like others see him as the scum of the earth! How can that be "blessed?" He also tells them to imitate him, but not his financial or career prowess, but his "ways in Christ."

Are You Choosing to Balance or Prioritize?

Are You Choosing to Balance or Prioritize?

Hey girl, hey!! I know this episode is late and if you woke up Saturday morning looking for a new episode. I am sending my sincerest apologies all the way to your headphones.

I believe our intention behind the to-do lists and fulfilling the planners can very much so become those seeds of distractions when things don't look like or pan out in what we thought.

    Ultimately rooting up discouragement

Q: Checkout this episode as I ask you, " Does the power of choice includes balancing or prioritizing?" - As we plan the plans for this new year, let's talk management.

God's way! Jesus wasn't focused on the expectations of man but on the call from God.

    A:
    both.

    -

    Balancing:

    • Finding time for everything in a proper way
    • Keeping balance is standing still steady so nothing falls over

    Prioritizing:

    • Arrange in order of importance
    • Allocate time to complete tasks
    • Make necessary changes
