Is Fiction an Antidote to Grief in Young People?

Is Fiction an Antidote to Grief in Young People?
What's the likelihood of winning a Governor General's Literary Award for young people's literature? That might just be the kind of thing that the main character of Sarah Everett's book, "The Probability of Everything," would try to figure out. It's the story of a girl obsessed with odds, and the chances of things occurring, including the end of the world. As it turns out, the book DID win that prestigious award in 2023. And we're pleased it brings Sarah Everett to our studio.
