    Podcast Summary

    • Biden's mental capacity and foreign policyThe political situation surrounding Biden's mental capacity and shifting foreign policy towards Palestinians could lead to a landslide loss for the Democrats in the 2024 election, while Trump benefits from the distraction.

The political situation surrounding President Biden's mental capacity and his handling of foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East, has become a major issue in the 2024 election. Many Americans believe Biden is not mentally fit to be president, and his support for Israel has shifted political sympathies towards the Palestinians. The Democrats may choose to overlook this issue due to their emphasis on obedience to party leaders, but this could lead to a landslide loss for the party in the election. Trump, on the other hand, seems to benefit from Biden's continued presence in the race, as it weakens the Democratic Party and distracts from his own scandals and inadequacies. The chaos in the Middle East and the uncertainty surrounding Biden's ability to lead adds to the volatility of the political landscape, making it difficult to predict which candidate will gain or lose the most from the situation.

    • Biden's Health Concerns and Democratic PartyGrowing concerns over Biden's mental and physical health have led to calls for him to step down, but Democratic Party rules prevent replacement as nominee, potentially leading to detrimental consequences for both parties, reminiscent of 'The Emperor's New Clothes'.

There is growing consensus among people from various political backgrounds that President Joe Biden's mental and physical condition raises serious concerns, yet the rules as they stand prevent him from being replaced as the Democratic nominee. Many individuals, including experts and commentators, have observed signs of cognitive decline and believe it is in the best interest of both parties for Biden to step down. The situation has drawn comparisons to Hans Christian Andersen's "The Emperor's New Clothes," where the inability to acknowledge the obvious truth leads to detrimental consequences. The debate performance further highlighted Biden's struggles, and the media's increased scrutiny has put him under a magnifying glass. Despite these concerns, the Democratic Party, as of now, appears unwilling to remove Biden from the ballot.

    • Trump's debate performanceDespite the consensus among Trump's critics and supporters that his 2020 presidential debate performance was historically bad, his family and supporters continued to encourage him, leading to debates about foreign policy capabilities and media manipulation.

The 2020 US presidential debate performance by Donald Trump was widely regarded as historically bad, even by his usual supporters and the corporate media. The debate was so disastrous that it was impossible to deny the obvious, leaving Trump's supporters, like Cenk Uygur from The Young Turks and the corporate media, in a rare moment of agreement. The debate's aftermath saw a call for Trump to withdraw from the race, but his family and supporters continued to encourage him. The debate's impact extended to foreign policy, with questions arising about who would be better equipped to resolve international crises, such as the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Despite their political differences, Uygur and Dave Rubin agreed that the corporate media often acts as a theater, manipulating public opinion.

    • US media and Biden's healthDespite controversies over media coverage, low approval ratings indicate many Americans believe Biden is too old to run again, and both parties prioritize donors over Palestinian interests in Israeli-Palestinian conflict

The behavior of the mainstream US media towards President Joe Biden's health and capability for the highest office has been a source of controversy, with many dismissing concerns about his mental and physical condition. However, Biden's low approval ratings, which are the lowest for any incumbent seeking re-election, suggest that most Americans believe he is too old to run again. Furthermore, both major political parties are heavily influenced by donors and lobbyists, making it challenging for politicians to prioritize the needs of the Palestinian people in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The situation is particularly concerning with regard to Donald Trump's close ties to Sheldon Adelson, whose donations have reportedly influenced US foreign policy towards Israel. Ultimately, it seems unlikely that any Democrat or Republican will prioritize the interests of the Palestinian people over those of their donors.

    • APAC's influence on US politicsThe speaker argues that APAC's influence on US politics is overstated and that other foreign governments also lobby extensively without facing the same level of scrutiny.

The Israel-Hamas conflict is a complex issue with motivations on both sides, and the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (APAC) is a lobbying organization that primarily benefits the US economy. The speaker disagrees with the notion that APAC holds significant power in US politics compared to other lobbying groups. Regarding the question of which US president could potentially resolve the Israel-Hamas conflict, the speaker believes it's not the responsibility of the US president alone, and both Biden and Trump have had their challenges in the Middle East. The speaker criticizes Biden's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal and Iran policy, which has contributed to instability and suffering in the region. The speaker also calls out Saudi Arabia and Qatar for their influence in American politics, and questions why APAC is often singled out as the "boogeyman" while other foreign governments' lobbying efforts go unchecked.

    • Lobbying and Foreign InfluenceThe powerful lobbying group, APAC, spending over $100 million in the current election cycle, raises concerns about foreign governments buying politicians' influence, regardless of their origin, and the complexities of the Middle East situation demand honest and objective discussions.

The influence of lobbying organizations, including the American Israel Political Action Committee (APAC), on American politics is a significant issue. APAC, which is pro-Israel, is among the most powerful lobbying groups, spending over $100 million in this election cycle alone. The speaker argues that foreign governments buying politicians' influence is a problem, regardless of their religion or origin. The focus on Israel's actions in the Middle East is essential due to the ongoing conflict and human rights concerns. It is crucial to acknowledge the complexities of the situation while recognizing the need to address terrorism and extremism in the region. The speaker also criticizes the use of derogatory labels as a form of insult and calls for honest and objective discussions about global issues.

    • US support for Israel conflictThe US provides significant financial aid to Israel, but a portion is reinvested in the US economy and there are strategic interests involved, making the conflict a complex geopolitical issue

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has been a contentious issue in American politics, with presidential candidates often trying to outdo each other in their support for Israel. However, the American public's stance on this issue has been different from previous conflicts in the region. The proliferation of smartphones and social media has made it difficult to ignore the graphic images of violence against Palestinian civilians, leading to questions about why the US is supporting this conflict and why we are paying for it. The US provides significant financial aid to Israel, but a large portion of it is required to be reinvested in the US economy. Additionally, the US has strategic interests in Israel, including the protection of American soldiers and the exchange of security and technological information. It's important to remember that Hezbollah and Hamas, both of which threaten the US, are also involved in the conflict, making it a complex geopolitical issue.

    Rabbi Shmuley vs Candace Owens

Regular viewers of Piers Morgan Uncensored will understand the gravity of the following debate without explanation. To the unseasoned, Rabbi Shmuley and Candace Owens have maintained a bitter feud over at least two years, having accused each other of everything from hypocrisy to lying to outright bigotry. Shmuley heavily criticised Owens for her embrace of Kanye West after his antisemitic tirades. Owens has hit back, claiming that Shmuley has harassed her publicly, blackmailed her and twisted her statements to present her as a hater of Jewish people.

Their personal grudges aside, the two firebrands are passionate voices for their own communities, something that Piers is eager to tap into. So finally, after years of vitriol, Piers Morgan is joined on Uncensored by both Owens and Shmuley for the first time. Their opening statements set the tone for the discussion, and no one should be surprised that they were confrontational.

The two combatants by and large debate the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, and nail each other to the wall on what they have and haven’t said.

Editor’s note: Rabbi Shmuley has asked us to make clear that he was unaware Candace Owens would have access to a laptop during the debate. This detail was not discussed with either party beforehand.

    Can Kamala Withstand The Scrutiny?

    Can Kamala Withstand The Scrutiny?

Kamala Harris finally seems to have a brand to sell in her battle for the White House; that being the simple message of joy. This strategy is apparently working, with polling suggesting that she has a small lead over Trump. On the other hand, exhibiting joy is easier than arguing for your policies, something that many of her detractors claim she simply hasn't done.

Piers Morgan brings founder of The Young Turks Cenk Uygur, comedian and political commentator Vincent ‘Vinny’ Oshana, financier and former White House Director of Communications Anthony Scaramucci and journalist Emily Austin onto Uncensored for a lively debate on the race to the White House. Vinny and Emily are steadfast in their support of Trump, while Cenk continues to call him a 'lunatic'. Anthony, the only panelist to have worked in Trump's administration, makes it clear that his only option is Kamala.

After that, Piers talks to American statistician Nate Silver on how the polls are looking, and also his new book 'On The Edge'

Douglas Murray On Israel Protests & UK Riots

Douglas Murray On Israel Protests & UK Riots

Tens of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets in Israel in the biggest civil unrest since the beginning of the Hamas war.

Today the country is at a standstill amid a general strike. It was called after the IDF recovered the bodies of six hostages from an underground tunnel in Rafah.

Fury at Hamas is a given. But Hamas is not the focus of these protests.

The anger is directed at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who’s accused of blocking a ceasefire and hostage release deal to save his own political life.

Douglas Murray spent 6 months in Israel covering the war in Gaza; writing and broadcasting in defence of Israel’s actions.

This summer he faced his latest brush with cancel culture after racially-charged riots caused havoc in Britain.

    Murray joins Piers tonight.

Iran-Israel: Brink Of War? w/Norman Finkelstein & Benny Morris

Iran-Israel: Brink Of War? w/Norman Finkelstein & Benny Morris

The world collectively holds its breath as it awaits a massive attack on Israel is anticipated by the Islamic Republic of Iran. This comes after the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in the Iranian capital city of Tehran. The international consensus is that the conflict between the two countries is going to get much much worse.

Piers Morgan brings together veritable experts on the region; speaking first to former Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett. Naftali puts the blame for the violence squarely on the shoulders of Iran, and says Israel’s efforts indirectly defend the West from harm. Then, Piers moderates a blazing row between political scientist Norman Finkelstein and Israeli historian Benny Morris. The two trade barbed words over what the assassination of Haniyeh and what it could lead to. The most frightening contention; that Israel may resort to nuclear weaponry.

Piers Morgan Vs Andrew Tate: UK Riots & Protests

Piers Morgan Vs Andrew Tate: UK Riots & Protests

This week, the UK has been gripped in the throes of violent riots; ignited by the murders of three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance in Southport, Merseyside. In a matter of hours, disinformation about the suspect began to spread around social media, claiming the 17-year-old assailant was an illegal Muslim migrant; which turned out to be untrue. Andrew Tate in particular made these claims on his X account, leading MP Nigel Farage to push out these falsehoods as well. As a result, both mosques and Muslims themselves have been attacked.

Piers Morgan brings Andrew Tate onto Uncensored to take him to task over his part in the amplification of these falsehoods, and the latter furiously defends himself. A war of words ensues - but at the very least, Tate does call for an end to the rioting and violence.

Kamala Picks ‘Radical’ Tim Walz For VP & Olympic Boxing Gender Row

The presumptive Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris, has in the last 24 hours announced her pick for her Vice President - Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, who has been described as a ‘radical’ after deciding to put tampons in the boys' restrooms of Minnesotan schools.

Joining Piers for the debate is Daily Wire presenter and commentator Michael Knowles, host of 'Emily Saves America' Emily Wilson, The Young Turks founder Cenk Uygur, host of the 'Democracy-Ish' podcast Wajahat Ali, former competitive swimmer Riley Gaines and Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary.

The panel then turns to the ongoing furore that’s descended on the 2024 Paris Olympics, which saw boxer Imane Khelif win her bout against Italian Angela Carini, specifically because Carini abandoned the fight after just 46 seconds. Serious questions have been raised about Khelif’s biological sex, and ultimately, what actually makes someone a woman.

Richard Gadd Responds to Real Life Baby Reindeer Interview

Richard Gadd Responds to Real Life Baby Reindeer Interview

Richard Gadd, the creator and star of Baby Reindeer, is officially backing Netflix in its mammoth legal battle with the “real-life Martha.”

Fiona Harvey is suing the streaming giant for 170 million dollars for defamation, gross negligence and violating her right to privacy.

Netflix portrayed Martha as a twice-convicted stalker who spends a total of five years in jail for her crimes.

Infamously, it was billed emphatically as a “true story.”

Gadd has filed 21 pages of testimony with the court in California.

In it, he says "I was surprised that Harvey appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored. Although I have only watched certain segments, I understand she claimed that she was the inspiration for the Martha character, and that she never sent me thousands of emails nor left me any voicemails"

“She harassed and stalked me over several years, and since her interview, other individuals have contacted me through my agents and publicists and said they were also harassed by Harvey, but all were too scared of her to come forward.”

As well as detailing Fiona Harvey’s persistent stalking, Gadd says that he - quote “never intended the series to identify any real person as Martha” and that “Martha is not Fiona Harvey.”

“Like all characters in the series,” he says, “Martha is a fictional character with fictional personality traits that are very different than Harvey’s.”

Piers discusses the latest with celebrity lawyer, Mark Geragos & Host of Popcorned Planet, Andy Signore

Democrats "Weird" Attack Line & Olympics Last Supper Parody

Democrats "Weird" Attack Line & Olympics Last Supper Parody

Democracy is no longer on the ballot in the US presidential election.

The grave new threat to the republic is, apparently, “weirdness.”

And Democrats are extremely eager for you to know that Donald Trump and JD Vance are weird.

    But will it work?

Piers debates that, and asks the question 'Did the Olympics mock the Last Supper?'

Co-Founder of The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur, The Redheaded Libertarian, Josie Glabach, Streamer, Destiny, Outkick's Tomi Lahren & Brandom Tatum from the Officer Tatum Podcast join the debate.

    Israel Bombs Beirut

    Israel Bombs Beirut

Breaking: Israel launches an air strike on Beirut that it says targeted a senior commander in the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah. Piers & his panel react.

The war in the Middle East rages on and on; with no definitive end in sight. But now, fears of another front line being opened up in Golan Heights are emerging after an explosion in a playground in Majdal Shams on Saturday, killing 12 young people from the minority Druze community. During the recording for this very debate, further reports of an Israeli airstrike on Lebanon’s capital of Beirut have broken in the news. Could this mean that the IDF will soon not just be fighting the remnants of Hamas, but also a neighbouring state’s military, Hezbollah?

Piers Morgan talks to Hebron Spokesman Rabbi Yishai Fleisher, American-Israeli commentator Emily Schrader, Palestinian-American Middle East analyst Omar Baddar and General Secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative (PNI) Party Mustafa Barghouti about these violent developments.
