Ep. 1031 - Degenerate Weirdo In See-Through Onesie Defiles Priceless Historical Artifact

    enSeptember 29, 2022

    Podcast Summary

    • Elites' Contemptuous Behavior Towards the PublicElites disregard historical significance, allowing pop stars to damage priceless artifacts and declaring misinformation as an act of war, while implementing new inclusivity policies in major industries.

The elites in power hold a disdainful attitude towards the general population and will go to great lengths to humiliate and demoralize them. An example of this was seen when pop star Lizzo was allowed to perform with a 200-year-old crystal flute belonging to President James Madison at a concert in DC, despite the potential damage she could cause to the priceless artifact. This incident highlights the contemptuous behavior of those in power towards the public and their disregard for historical significance. Another topic discussed was President Biden's increasing dementia, with him reportedly seeing ghosts, and the Prime Minister of New Zealand declaring misinformation as an act of war. Additionally, a major airline announced new inclusivity policies allowing pilots to cross-dress on the job. American Financing was introduced as a sponsor, offering free financial reviews and debt consolidation services to help families save money and improve their finances.

    • Media and public figures exaggerate and glorify celebrities' actionsMedia and public figures can manipulate public perception by exaggerating and glorifying celebrities' actions, diminishing the value of individuals' heritage, history, and traditions, and eroding self-esteem and cultural pride.

The media and certain public figures often exaggerate and glorify the actions of celebrities like Lizzo, especially when they are female, obese, and black, turning mundane events into historic milestones. This phenomenon is not only misleading but also demoralizing, as it diminishes the value of individuals' heritage, history, and traditions, and reinforces the idea that only what the elites deem important matters. The intentional degradation of valuable artifacts and the subsequent mocking of critics is a mind game designed to silence opposition and assert control over what is considered significant. Ultimately, this erodes self-esteem and cultural pride, and it's essential to recognize and challenge these manipulative tactics.

    • Actions disrespecting historical figuresIndividuals use symbolic gestures and actions to mock historical figures' legacies, disrespecting their importance and contributing to a larger culture of disregard for history

Some individuals on the left are using symbolic gestures and actions as a form of racial retribution and demoralization towards historical figures, such as Lizzo's use of a flute once owned by James Madison. These actions are intended to mock and demean the historical figures' legacies, particularly in relation to their past involvement with slavery. Similarly, Joe Biden's recent call for a deceased congresswoman to appear at an event showcases a lack of respect and sensitivity towards the deceased. These actions, while some may view them as insignificant, ultimately contribute to a larger culture of disrespect and disregard for history and its significance. It's crucial to recognize and challenge these actions to preserve the importance of historical figures and their legacies.

    • President Biden's Mental State Questioned After Looking for Deceased CongresswomanMedia questioned Biden's mental state after he appeared to search for a deceased congresswoman, with Press Secretary Jean-Pierre insisting he was thinking of her legacy.

During a recent White House event, President Biden appeared to look for a deceased congresswoman in the room, leading to questions from the press about his mental state. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre explained that the president had the congresswoman on his mind and was looking forward to meeting her family. However, the media was not satisfied with this explanation and pressed for clarification. This exchange continued for several minutes, with Jean-Pierre insisting that the president was thinking about the late congresswoman and her legacy. While some may find it significant that the media is asking follow-up questions and not accepting the first answer they receive, others may view this as a sign that the media is trying to "take down" President Biden and find a replacement for the 2024 election. Regardless, the incident highlights the ongoing concerns about President Biden's mental abilities and the media's role in holding public figures accountable.

    • New White House advisor stresses international cooperation on immigrationKeisha Lance Bottoms highlighted the significance of global collaboration to tackle crises like immigration, but her response was criticized for being verbose. Hurricane Ian brought destruction to Florida, with Governor Ron DeSantis receiving recognition for his response, while media focused on climate change.

During a discussion about White House officials and immigration, Keisha Lance Bottoms, a new advisor, emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing global crises, including migration. She acknowledged the challenges faced by the United States and other countries, and the need for long-term strategies. However, her response was criticized for using excessive words to convey little substance. Meanwhile, Hurricane Ian hit Florida with over 150 mile per hour winds, causing widespread evacuations and damage. Governor Ron DeSantis received praise for his handling of the crisis, but the media focused on climate change instead.

    • Focusing on practical solutions during crisesLeaders must prioritize practical solutions over theoretical discussions during crises, acknowledging and addressing issues like disinformation to progress on critical challenges like climate change and crime.

During times of crisis, it's essential for leaders to focus on practical solutions rather than abstract conversations. The ongoing hurricane serves as a reminder of this, as the community affected is currently dealing with the immediate consequences and cannot afford to dwell on the theoretical causes. The New Zealand prime minister's approach to climate change, which involves banning questioning, is an extreme example of neglecting practical solutions. It's crucial for leaders to acknowledge and address issues like disinformation, which can undermine the values we hold dear and hinder progress on critical challenges such as climate change and crime. While it may be tempting to leave such problems to others, ignoring them poses significant risks. Instead, leaders must grapple with these issues on a practical level and find effective solutions.

    • Recognizing the Dangers of Misinformation in WarfareMisinformation can manipulate beliefs and cause chaos, even qualified skepticism can be misinformation, governments should not control information, and critical evaluation and fact-checking are crucial to mitigate the impact of misinformation.

Misinformation is a dangerous weapon used in warfare to cause chaos and manipulate beliefs. It's essential to recognize that even qualified skepticism can be considered misinformation. Governments should not control information or dictate what is legitimate or not. The fake study on gender affirming double mastectomies for minors is an example of misinformation, as it was funded by a hospital with a vested interest and lacked sufficient follow-up. The consequences of such manipulation can significantly impact individuals and societies, highlighting the importance of critical evaluation and fact-checking.

    • Study on top surgery for transgender individuals raises concerns over misclassification of normal feelings as symptoms of dysphoriaA recent study's use of an inaccurate chest dysphoria scale could misclassify normal feelings as symptoms and lead to unnecessary top surgery interventions for transgender individuals.

A recent study on the effectiveness of top surgery for transgender individuals after a 3-month follow-up raised concerns due to the use of a chest dysphoria scale that could potentially misclassify normal feelings as symptoms of dysphoria. The scale, which included items like "I avoid going to the beach and swimming in public because of my chest," could apply to anyone, not just those with gender dysphoria. Moreover, the study's findings that girls were less likely to have dysphoria about their breasts if they didn't have them could be misleading since many girls experience body changes and discomfort during puberty, regardless of their gender identity. The use of this scale in the study could potentially suggest top surgery to those who might not need it, creating unnecessary medical interventions. It's crucial to ensure that such studies use accurate and valid measures to assess the benefits of gender-affirming surgeries.

    • Caleb McLaughlin discusses racism during his early careerActors of color face unique challenges in their careers and can experience emotional tolls from racism, even into their early adulthood.

Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin shared his experiences with racism during his early career, including being ignored at Comic Cons and having fewer Instagram followers than some of his costars, which he attributes to his race. McLaughlin, who is black, expressed that these experiences took a toll on him and that he still encounters racism overseas. Another user in the discussion reflected on how even into their early twenties, individuals are still developing emotionally and psychologically, making it common to look back on one's younger self and feel a sense of disconnect. The conversation also touched on the importance of allowing enough time to pass before evaluating the permanence of a lifelong decision.

    • The Impact of Time on Regret and Cultural ShiftsStudying regret after significant decisions requires adequate time to avoid biased results. Cultural shifts and subcultures should be considered, and different forms of genital mutilation should not be conflated. Effective boundaries in the workplace require careful consideration and strategy.

The length of time used to study regret after making a significant decision can greatly impact the results. A study with a cutoff as short as a few months would be highly suspect, as individuals may still be recovering from the decision and feeling a sense of normalcy that could displace any potential regret. Additionally, there are ongoing cultural shifts that can lead to the emergence of unique subcultures and celebrities among younger generations, which can be easily overlooked by those who assume these phenomena are new and inevitable. Another important takeaway is the distinction between different forms of genital mutilation, such as circumcision and the removal of the entire sex organ. While both involve altering the genitalia, they are fundamentally different and should not be conflated. Lastly, setting effective boundaries in the workplace is crucial for success, but it requires a thoughtful and strategic approach. Simply asserting your boundaries without considering the context and the dynamics of the situation can backfire and lead to negative consequences.

    • Setting Boundaries and Understanding Leverage as an AdultHard work leads to success, but persistence is key. Success often depends on one's line of work and company, and the flying experience can differ greatly based on class.

Being an adult means setting boundaries with tact and understanding the dynamics of leverage. Hard work does lead to success, but it's important not to give up too soon. Success often comes to those who put in the most effort. Additionally, one's line of work or company can significantly impact one's level of success. While some people may get lucky or be born into privilege, most successful individuals have worked hard to achieve their accomplishments. Lastly, the flying experience can vary greatly depending on the class. While economy class passengers may feel neglected and uncomfortable, first-class passengers enjoy luxuries and are treated as valued customers.

    • Virgin Atlantic Embraces Inclusivity with New Uniform PolicyVirgin Atlantic allows employees to wear uniforms aligning with their gender identity and offers optional pronoun badges, aiming to create a more inclusive work environment. Some argue potential impact on safety, but the policy is welcomed as an important step towards embracing individuality.

Virgin Atlantic is making significant strides towards inclusivity by allowing its employees to wear uniforms that align with their gender identity. This policy, which also includes optional pronoun badges, is intended to empower employees and create a more inclusive work environment. While some may find the change unsettling, a judge from RuPaul's Drag Race has welcomed the move as an important step towards embracing individuality. Additionally, the airline is also part of a wider initiative to create a more diverse and equitable workforce by lowering recruiting requirements for pilots. However, some may argue that this focus on individuality and inclusivity could potentially compromise safety if the pilot's emotional and mental state is not stable enough to fly an aircraft. Nonetheless, the transparency of the pilot's gender expression could provide passengers with valuable information to make informed decisions about their travel plans.

    • Individuality in Modern CultureWhile individuality can seem freeing, it's often influenced by cultural norms. Balancing personal expression and societal expectations is crucial for functioning in various roles and maintaining order in society.

Individuality, as presented in modern culture, is often a facade and may not be as freeing as it seems. The discussion highlights how people's choices in appearance and behavior can be influenced by cultural norms rather than their own authentic selves. Additionally, individuality is not always the ideal in every situation, as conforming to societal expectations and standards is necessary for functioning in various roles and maintaining order in society. This is particularly important in specific contexts, such as air travel, where decorum and professionalism are crucial for safety and efficiency. Ultimately, it's essential to recognize the importance of balancing individual expression with societal norms and expectations.

    • Effective communication and collaboration for successClear and concise messaging, active listening, shared understanding, diverse perspectives, and strong relationships are essential for successful communication and collaboration.

The importance of effective communication and collaboration in achieving success. The speakers emphasized the need for clear and concise messaging, active listening, and a shared understanding of goals. They also highlighted the benefits of diverse perspectives and the value of building strong relationships. Ultimately, the ability to work together effectively can help teams overcome challenges, drive innovation, and create positive outcomes. So, whether you're working on a project with a team or trying to build a successful business, remember that communication and collaboration are key.

Ep. 1396 - A System Run By Illiterate Imbeciles

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, a judge in Atlanta was just arrested and removed from the bench after getting into a fight at a nightclub and assaulting a police officer. Again: this woman works as a judge, not a waitress at Waffle House. But, she is just a symptom of a much larger problem. We'll discuss. Also, I'll offer my preview of tonight's presidential debate. Climate protesters attempt a very unique and hilarious method of stopping traffic. And, a guy on Twitter is roundly mocked and ridiculed after offering some unorthodox life advice to young men. As usual, the peanut gallery is wrong.

Ep. 1395 - A Flock Of Drag Queens Descend On Capitol Hill

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, yesterday was "Drag Lobby Day" on Capitol Hill as several drag queens descended on our nation's capital to lobby for a host of awful legislation. The whole event was a flop, though, which may tell us something. Also, the Biden Administration promotes another cross-dressing man. The city of Los Angeles cracks down on people who are committing the crime of trying to make their communities safe and livable. And, the first annual "FatCon," a convention for fat people, just happened. I'll have the highlights, in case you were under the weight limit and couldn't attend.

Ep. 1394 - The Fight Against Child Mutilation Makes It To The Supreme Court

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the Supreme Court will officially hear a challenge to Tennessee's ban on "gender affirming care" for minors. This will be a huge case that could deliver a devastating blow to the trans agenda. Also, CNN kicks a Trump spokesperson off the air for questioning CNN's objectivity ahead of the presidential debate on Thursday. Taylor Swift makes a brave stand against the patriarchy at her most recent concert. And, British academics are researching milk to discover its ties to racism and colonialism.

Ep. 1393 - Christian Conservatives Proven Right Once Again As Abstinence 'Trend' Gains Popularity

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the media has discovered a hot new trend. It's called abstinence. For years the Left mocked Christian conservatives for promoting abstinence. Now, they're coming around, but for all the wrong reasons. Also, Jamaal Bowman and AOC team up for the cringiest campaign rally of all time. Donald Trump made two campaign promises over the weekend: one very good and one very bad. And, the wife of an NFL quarterback says that she convinced her now-husband to date her by hooking up with his backup. Why would any wife share a story like that?

    Ep. 1392 - Disney’s Not So Secret Anti-White Agenda

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, we've heard about Disney's not-so-secret gay agenda. Now, thanks to James O'Keefe, we know more about their not-so-secret anti-white agenda. Also, MSNBC talking heads do their best to explain why classrooms should have pride flags but shouldn't have the Ten Commandments. Their argument is more revealing than they wanted it to be. And, can racism cause cancer? That was the premise of an episode of an NBC medical drama. It was not satire. Not intentionally, anyway.

Ep. 1391 - Anti-Human Eco Brats Deface One Of The Oldest Monuments On Earth

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the anti-human climate alarmist brats are at it again. This time, they defaced one of the oldest and most historically significant monuments on the planet. These people don't love the planet. They just hate humanity. Also, Louisiana is mandating a copy of the Ten Commandments for every classroom in the state. The usual suspects are claiming that this is an attack on the First Amendment. I'll explain why that's ridiculous. And, the "bio-hacking" movement continues to grow. These are people who think that dying is a choice, rather than an inevitable fact of human existence.

Ep. 1390 - Major Polling Firm Changes Its Own Results After Left-Wing Activists Complain

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the term "Orwellian" is overused these days–but, no other word can describe what just happened with a Pew survey finding that a vast majority of black Americans believe in racial conspiracy theories. The findings were so upsetting to activists that Pew went back and changed the report. This is a crazy story that few are talking about. We'll discuss. Also, Donald Trump reportedly floated the idea of abolishing the income tax. That's a great idea that should garner a lot more enthusiasm than it does. And, a democratic congresswoman claims that she miraculously cured cancer. Where are the fact-checkers on this one?

New “research” out of Brookings claims that we are leading purveyors of misinformation, who “burnish [our] scientific bona fides” by using tricky terms like “correlation” and “causation.” Brookings having established that we are cranks for discussing scientific articles that are on pre-print servers (and so haven’t been peer-reviewed), we point to Nature’s discussion this week of…a scientific article on a pre-print server. Finally, we discuss how you might use a scientific approach to increase your odds of surviving in the Indonesian rainforest.

Alternate Current Radio Presents: BOILER ROOM - Learn to protect yourself from predatory mass media cartels and social media feedback loops.

    Hour 2
In the second hour of the podcast the BOILER ROOM is looking at the Neil Young vs Joe Rogan story is unfolding in the wake of the outrage at Joe Rogan interviewing Dr. Robert Malone. Who does the mass media and fortune 100 cartels look to as voices of analysis for this...? Well, a Unicef spokesperson and a one-hit-wonder viral video 'anti-golf' tiktok personality who's now tried to rebrand herself as a "anti-conspiracy researcher." Emperor Fauci is on the jab path again, pushing for jabbing children under the age of five years old with experimental biotech gene therapy mRNA drugs, just following the W.H.O. coming out and saying there was little evidence that this type of experimenting on children is helpful at all. Whats up with mass media platforming someone lightly roasting Schwab and the Davos crowd? Some discerning readers might think they backhandedly want to paint swaths of people as "antidemocratic populists."

Featured guests: Ruckus (The Daily Ruckus), Oddman Out The Oddcast), Infidel Pharaoh (Magic Carpet Ride), Mindspace Art (Soul Purpose)
