Ep.6 - Married to Weddings feat. Jamie Root

In this episode all six seats are filled, but we focus most of our attention on the one with Dominic Muschello in it as we discover that he is color blind...or at least color confused.  Learn what that means and all the challenges that come with it, like eating chicken and shopping for sharpies.

Remember all those times we asked what you think about the topics we've spoken about?  Well this is why we keep asking.  It's our first opportunity to recap the first five episodes, go over what we might have missed, add some facts to the conversation and most importantly share the opinions of everyone else that we've collected via poll results, comments, messages and good old fashion face to face interactions.  This is something that we think sets our podcast apart from others and we plan on doing one every five episodes or so.

With us is friend and filmmaker Jamie Root, founder of JFR Media, which is producing short films, web series, commercials and so much more.  Jamie is also the assistant director on our upcoming feature film, Stream.  

Having seen more weddings than a priest, Jamie is our resident expert.  So we discuss all the craziness that comes with todays weddings, from planning to presents.  Do you think wedding gifts should be returned if a marriage doesn't last?  Do bridal showers make sense anymore?  Will you be having a Sem Ceremony at your wedding?  And most importantly is Mike a groomzilla (you can see some of his wedding footage on Patreon)?  Let us know what you think and we'll share it in a future episode.

Jolene and Marcus are back for more...well technically they never left, but now you get to hear more.  Just as a refresher, Jolene Marie Richardson is a costume designer and host of her own wardrobe related podcast called "To Dye For"  and Marcus Slabine is a writer/director currently knee deep in a major horror project that will officially be announced soon.

The unplanned roast of Marcus that began last episode continues as we delve into his (and prior guest George Steuber's eating habits), then switch gears to Mike's affinity for ordering grits that he doesn't eat.  Do you know anyone who always orders something, but never eats it?  Do you think sushi without fish is really sushi?  What about pizza without cheese?  Hear our thoughts here and then send in yours.

It's Women's History Month and although we didn't actually plan it to work this way, we have our first female guest, Jolene Marie Richardson.  She is a costume designer and host of her own wardrobe related podcast called "To Dye For."  Along with her, writer/director Marcus Slabine joins us as well and while he may not be a woman he uses more hair product than most of them.

We discuss costume design and what our clothing says about us as people and then dive into the nuanced controversy of what sex with a vampire would look like through a mirror.  What do you think?  What do you see and what don't you see?  If anyone can give us a sci-fi physics lesson please do.

The guys are joined by George Steuber, producer & director of photography of Terrifier 1 & 2 as well as the gaffer for Stream.  George is a master when it comes to the art of lighting, but we focused a little more on the other thing he's mastered in life, eating.
