Understanding someone's commitment: People who value and care for us will show it through consistent actions, but individual emotional capacities and timelines can complicate matters. If someone consistently fails to make time or express feelings, they may not have the same level of interest or commitment.
If someone truly wants to be with you, they will make it clear through consistent actions and commitment. However, it's important to remember that people can have varying emotional capacities and timelines, which can make things complicated. The phrase "if he wanted to, he would" can be misleading and subjective, but it generally holds true that those who value and care for us will show it through their actions. If someone consistently fails to make time for you or express their feelings, it may be a sign that they don't have the same level of interest or commitment. Ultimately, it's essential to recognize that we cannot force someone to have feelings for us or commit to us, and it's crucial to respect their autonomy and individuality.
Consistent communication is key in relationships: Failure to respond to texts or show up consistently may indicate potential communication issues, leading to feelings of neglect and misunderstanding.
Communication is essential in any relationship. If someone consistently fails to respond to texts or show up for you, it may indicate a lack of effort or interest. Texting back is a basic expectation, and if someone can't manage this simple act, it could be a sign of potential communication issues down the line. A relationship that lacks consistent communication can lead to feelings of neglect and misunderstanding. If someone disappears for long periods without explanation, it's important to consider if they're able to meet your communication needs. Ultimately, if someone truly cares about you, they will make an effort to communicate regularly and show up for you when it matters.
Clear and consistent communication is a basic courtesy in relationships: Consistent communication builds trust and understanding in relationships, creating a comfortable and reassuring dynamic.
Consistent communication is a basic courtesy in relationships. It's not a grand romantic gesture, but a sign of respect and care for one another. When communication is absent or inconsistent, it can lead to anxiety and doubt. A healthy and compatible relationship is characterized by clear and consistent communication, where both parties are on the same page and trust each other. When communication is calm and reliable, it creates a comfortable and reassuring dynamic. It's important to recognize and value this basic courtesy, as it sets the foundation for a deeper connection.
Clear communication and genuine interest matter most in a relationship: Consistent clear communication and genuine interest are signs of a healthy relationship, while excessive texting may indicate an imbalance
Clear communication and genuine interest are key in a healthy relationship. While frequency of text messages alone does not determine the health of a relationship, it is important to observe the quality and intentionality behind the messages. If someone is consistently clear, communicative, and shows genuine interest in you, while also having their own life, then you will likely feel good about the relationship and experience a healthy dynamic. Conversely, if someone is overly talkative or texting excessively, it may be a sign of unhealthy behavior or an imbalance in the relationship. Ultimately, it's important to trust your instincts and recognize when you've found a healthy balance in a relationship.
Understanding the Significance of Early Dating Interactions: Evaluate the depth of conversation and motivations behind messages to navigate dating effectively. Consistent effort and commitment indicate a higher level of interest.
The quality and intention behind messages in the early stages of dating are crucial indicators of genuine interest. A person's actions, such as consistently texting or making an effort to get to know you, demonstrate a higher level of commitment compared to basic or convenient communication. The speaker emphasizes that comparing low-effort interactions to more significant ones, like receiving messages from a partner in the military, can help set healthy expectations in relationships. Ultimately, being aware of the motivations behind messages and evaluating the depth of conversation can help individuals navigate the dating scene more effectively.
Understanding when someone isn't prioritizing you: Recognize inconsistent actions and communication as potential signs of a lack of priority or interest. Seek relationships with those who demonstrate genuine care and attentiveness through thoughtful actions and consistent communication.
People's priorities can shift, and it's essential to recognize when someone isn't making you a priority. It's not necessarily a reflection of their character or intentions, but rather a sign that you need to adjust your expectations. However, consistent acts of thoughtfulness and communication are significant indicators of genuine care and interest. Remember, if someone truly cares, they'll find a way to show it, even in uncertain times. Conversely, excuses and inconsistent communication may indicate a lack of priority or interest. Recognizing this can help you set healthy boundaries and seek relationships that align with your needs and values. Additionally, small acts of thoughtfulness and memory retention can demonstrate a deep connection and attentiveness, as illustrated by the examples shared.
Paying attention to small details shows care and affection: Showing interest in someone's hobbies and passions is a sign of a healthy relationship, while a lack of effort and disrespectful behavior are red flags
Remembering small details and showing genuine interest in a person's hobbies and passions is a strong indicator of care and affection in a relationship. When someone pays attention to the little things, it shows that they value and appreciate you. It's a sign of a healthy and meaningful connection. Conversely, red flags include a lack of interest or effort in getting to know you, inconsistency in actions and words, and disrespectful or hurtful behavior. Remember, you deserve a partner who wants to be a part of your world and makes it clear through their actions.
Inconsistency in relationships can be a red flag: Recognizing and addressing inconsistency in relationships is crucial for building a strong, long-term partnership and avoiding settling for an uncertain future.
Inconsistency in relationships can be a major red flag. Growing up with emotional inconsistency can normalize this behavior and lead to addictive highs and lows. If someone is consistently inconsistent, especially after several months, it may indicate they are seeing other people or unsure about the relationship. This toxic cycle can prevent you from finding a healthy, committed partner. It's important to recognize and address this pattern to avoid settling for an uncertain future. Consistency is a crucial factor in building a strong, long-term relationship and raising a family. Ultimately, prioritizing long-term visions and values over short-term highs can help break the cycle and lead to a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
Respecting boundaries and showing consideration in relationships: Value and prioritize each other, respect boundaries, and make consistent efforts towards building a healthy and long-lasting relationship.
In a relationship, both parties should respect each other's boundaries, show consideration, and make an effort towards building something healthy and stable. It's not about setting unrealistic standards or demanding constant attention, but rather about valuing and prioritizing each other. Consistency and commitment are essential for a long-lasting relationship. If someone doesn't meet these expectations, it's important to assess whether they're the right person for you. The speaker shares an example of taking a step back and letting the other person take the lead in the relationship. By doing so, she was able to gauge their level of interest and commitment. This approach also allowed her to appreciate the genuine effort and value the relationship more. It's important to remember that everyone deserves a partner who shows up for them in the same way they do for their partner. Inconsistency and lack of commitment are not acceptable in a relationship. By respecting boundaries and making an effort towards the relationship, both parties can build something healthy and long-lasting.
Recognize when someone isn't making an effort: If someone truly likes you, they'll make it clear and put in effort. Focus on those who value your time and make it obvious they want to be a part of your life.
If someone truly likes you, they will put in the effort to make it clear and make plans. If you find yourself constantly having to chase someone down or decipher their intentions, it may be a sign that they're not truly interested. Your time is valuable, and you deserve to be with people who make an effort to be in your life. Be aware of these situations and trust your instincts. Don't waste time on people who aren't closing the deal and making it clear that they want to be with you. Instead, focus on those who make it obvious and known that they value your time and want to be a part of your life. As the speaker emphasized, there will be people who make it clear and known, and that's what you deserve. So, don't settle for vague and unclear situations, and instead, focus on building meaningful connections with people who are willing to put in the effort.
If they wanted to, THEY WOULD.

How to heal from a heartbreak (you deserve better and so do I)
It's time to end the toxic cycles. In this episode, I cover everything I know about going through heartbreak - and what I've learned over the years on how to recover quickly and how to move on. As I reflect back over the last two weeks, I feel like the rug had been ripped out from under me and at first I couldn't understand why...but I truly believe that everything happens for a reason - and the universe always remove someone or something in order to REPLACE IT with something better. Although I spoke highly of this person out of respect, after recording this episode and taking a step back, I recognize that I was mostly definitely love bombed, and no one should have to go through that.
Your reminder to stop settling in your dating life and to love yourself first.
In full transparency, I recorded this episode back in July when I was still dating someone who I thought could be someone significant in my life. Although that relationship has recently ended, I still wanted to share this episode because everything I'm saying still holds the same truth to it - which is your reminder to never settle for basic behaviors in relationships. To experience someone who makes a genuine effort to see you, to spend time with you, and to focus on you - is what everyone deserves.

2691 Create the Mind You Want to Live In
Where do you call home? Most of the time home is a place of safety and comfort. So why beat yourself up all the time. Create the mind you want to live in.
You've heard the saying, "You made your bed, now lie in it." Well, unfortunately, most of us are doing just that. We create a space we constantly are complaining about.
Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. http://bit.ly/WomenofIMPACT
So why not do something about it instead of just complaining about it?
You do have control over your thoughts. But you have to be willing to make the bed you want to lie in.
So don't you think you can do the same for your mind?
Intentionality is simply living with awareness and seeking what you desire to be your truth.
However, that comes with first acknowledging where you are on the comfort scale.
- Are you willing to hang up on the doubts and fears that plague your mind for something more uplifting and inviting?
- Are you willing to make changes even when the work is more complicated than what you've done before?
- Are you willing to show yourself what, most of the time, you show strangers; kindness in the making?
If you can answer yes to those questions and be willing to try a little every day in every way moment by moment, then you can create the mind you want to live in.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Create the mind you want to live in!
Now I believe this is not something you do alone. You most definitely can pray and ask God for help. He will hear your request and show you ways where you can make changes, or where you are doing very well.
Also, make sure you have support and accountability surrounding you. Tell a close friend or family member you trust. You don't have to shout it from the mountaintops. You want to be just loud enough to stay on the path to create the mind you want to live in.
- SPOT - Know what's happening when it's happening. (Awareness)
- STOP - Understand where it's coming from. (Comprehension)
- SWAP - Exchange it for something better. (Intentionality)
You are made for more. So don't stand in your way to greatness every day.
God has plans for you along with hope and a future. Drowning in your sorrows and complaints only keeps you in the allies of despair and aggravation.
Shine today for greatness is your mission!
"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

2446 Are You Playing on the Wrong Team?

Have you indulged in little sports this weekend?

Maybe you enjoyed your child playing ball or some good football, NFL or College. You can't leave out tennis or baseball either.
You probably could find almost any sport you wanted to watch. 'Tis the season.
What I love most about this season is what it can teach us. Yes! Any moment can be a teachable moment.
So as I was watching the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens play, I was fascinated by how some players watched and were concerned about what the other player was doing, looking behind or over their shoulder.
But the ones who kept focused on where they were headed and simply keeping their eye on the plan, the goal was achieved at a more consistent rate.
Many of us are looking too much at what others are doing. The distractions keep you from moving forward and can keep you stuck.
If you want to escape the comparison and move your dreams forward, you've got to lead from where you stand.
The K.I.S.S. ~ L.E.A.D. from where you stand!
You have got to let go of what you can't control and do what you can control.
If you lock onto what others are doing and try to emulate them, you can kiss your dream or goal goodbye.
So how do you L.E.A.D. from where you stand?
- Locate - Where are you? Where do you want to go? Connecting where you are now versus where you are headed. This is recognizing the importance of your presence so you can simplify your next step. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo
- Evaluate & Examine your strengths and your weaknesses. What do you need to get to where you want to go? Of course, you can look at others for examples and mentorship. But don't get caught up in what they are doing. Be quick to turn what you learn into action.
- AIM - Action ignites motivation. Make your move. Build up your courage by doing. Success loves speed. So make a decision and get on the move for the next step.
- Discipline - Be willing to do the work. Work on you and create your best selfie. This is not about trying to do everything all at once, but doing the once all the time.
