    About this Episode

This week Dr. Steven Roby, Noah Shaffer and Rodney Buse answer five viewer questions.

    1. Brittany Hargis - How does a Christian balance between being bold in the faith while working in a setting, such as a school, that openly disowns Christian values, beliefs, discussions, and even Christian attire? Ultimately, having the possibility of losing their job if a student asks me a question, and I respond with a Biblical answer?

    2. Christine Mathhues - God calls us to live in community, but I'm so busy with work, kids sports, household chores, cooking, grocery shopping, and everything in between! I feel like there isn't time for friends or fellowship. How do I prioritize all of the things God has called me to do (wife, mother, diligent work,  respecting my blessings, etc) when life is constantly getting in the way?

    3. Anonymous - With true believing Christians being saved, what happens with people who never have a chance to hear the gospel or know Christ?

    4. Christine Mathhues - What kind of idols are pervasive today that are difficult to identify because they’re so ingrained in our culture? Are political monuments idolatrous? (Mt. Rushmore, Lincoln Monument, etc.)

    5. Brittany Hargis - Strictly regarding born-again Christians, why do believers have different convictions about disputable matters (e.g., Book of Revelation, young earth/old earth creationism), when we each have the Holy Spirit within us? In other words, why doesn’t the Holy Spirit make us all have the same convictions on those “gray” areas in the Bible?

Is Pastoral Restoration Possible after Moral Failure?

A couple Saturday's ago, we had a guest speaker at a men's breakfast, that shared his story...The rise, and failure of a pastor, in sexual sin.  His lesson sparked a question.  Can and should a pastor that has a moral failure (sin), who is repentant, be restored in the church and in the ministry?  This is a great conversation on the topic.
