About this Episode
Lina Latini was a caregiver to her father, who passed away from stage 2 pancreatic cancer. His father had a lot of back pain, so he asked Lina for some exercises, which didn't help much. Her father then underwent a CT scan, and Pancreatic cancer was detected. He went through chemotherapy for the first six months, and then in the next six months, he had to go through surgery. In May 2021, cancer came back in his liver, his health deteriorated, and he passed away in September 2021. Being a caregiver, she feels that cancer has made her more compassionate, patient, and more generous with other people. Lina believes everyone should practise gratitude for everything in their life. Her journey as a caregiver was difficult, but the love and support that came along the way were worth it.
