Known for her rebellious spirit and unique voice, O'Connor's music resonated with millions and she openly discussed her struggles with mental health and childhood abuse. Her impact on Irish culture and music will be remembered for generations.

    • Sinead O'Connor's Impact and Saudi Arabia's Influence in SportsSinead O'Connor's outspoken nature and fearless approach inspired younger generations, while older generations had mixed feelings. Saudi Arabia's $1B offer for Mbappe highlights their growing influence in sports, but the impact is debated.

Sinead O'Connor was an iconic Irish figure known for her outspoken nature and fearless approach to expressing her opinions, despite controversy. Her influence spanned generations, with younger Irish people viewing her as a role model, while older generations had mixed feelings about her actions. O'Connor's impact was felt in various aspects of Irish and British culture, from radio interviews to music awards. Her passing at the age of 56 has left a significant void, and her legacy will continue to inspire and challenge people. Regarding the second topic, Saudi Arabia's growing influence in sports has been a subject of fascination, with the country's reported $1,000,000,000 offer for Kylian Mbappe being the latest development. Eddie Hearn, a prominent figure in boxing, has been involved in high-profile deals with Saudi Arabia. The question remains whether this Saudi sports washing empire is a positive or negative influence on the world of sports. Tune in to the interview with Eddie Hearn for a deeper discussion on this topic.

    • Saudi Arabia's Impact on Global SportsSaudi Arabia's financial resources are transforming global sports, raising ethical concerns and attracting top talent.

Saudi Arabia's determination and vast financial resources are making a significant impact on global sports, with the potential to become a top league in various sports within a year. This development raises ethical concerns regarding sports washing and morality, as some athletes and teams have ignored human rights issues and accepted lucrative deals despite earlier criticisms. However, the passion and dedication of the Saudi sports leaders have led to improvements in grassroots sports and the attraction of top talent. The hypocrisy of athletes and teams accepting deals despite earlier criticisms is a complex issue, as money often plays a significant role in business and sports decisions. Ultimately, the Saudi Arabian sports revolution is a reality that cannot be ignored, and its impact on the global sports landscape will continue to be debated.

    • The Anticipated Boxing Matches and Fury's DecisionTyson Fury must defeat Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua to join boxing legends like Ali, Lennox Lewis, and Joe Frazier. Dillian Whyte's upbringing, shaped by his father's discipline, instilled a strong work ethic and winning mentality.

The boxing world is eagerly anticipating several high-profile matches, including Anthony Joshua's fight against Dillian Whyte on August 12th on DAZN, followed by Joshua's bout against Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia. Tyson Fury, the current WBC heavyweight champion, has turned down the opportunity to fight the undisputed champion, Oleksandr Usyk, in favor of an MMA fighter. To secure his place among boxing greats like Ali, Lennox Lewis, and Joe Frazier, Fury must defeat Usyk and Anthony Joshua. The speaker shares his personal connection to Dillian Whyte and reveals that Whyte's upbringing, much like his own, instilled a strong work ethic and winning mentality. Whyte's father, a former Dagenham resident, drilled these values into him to prevent him from becoming a "rich kid" and instilled discipline, respect, and physical and mental health through sports. The speaker expresses his passion for passing these values on to the next generation.

    • Sport's impact on personal growth and community buildingSport fosters personal growth, education, and community building, instilling pride, passion, and a sense of family, while maintaining fair competition is essential for its integrity and personal development.

Sport plays a significant role in personal growth, education, and community building, especially for those who face challenges in their lives. Pride and passion for the sport can overcome past conflicts, and the sense of family and direction it provides can lead individuals to remarkable achievements. However, the integrity of fair competition is crucial, and issues like participation prizes for all and transgender athletes competing in women's sports can undermine the essence of sport. The importance of winning and striving for excellence should not be overshadowed by the need to avoid upsetting individuals, as it is a crucial aspect of personal development and healthy competition.

    • The importance of encouragement and striving for excellenceEncourage kids to strive for excellence, have a scoreboard in life, and instill a winning mentality to empower individuals to be their best competitive selves.

Encouragement and the desire to win are crucial for personal growth and success. The speaker emphasizes the importance of not closing the door to young kids' aspirations, but at the same time, encouraging them to strive for excellence. He shares his own experiences of being pushed to compete and win, and the value of having a scoreboard in life to track progress. The speaker also critiques the current trend of celebrating losers and quitting, and encourages a shift towards instilling a winning mentality in young people. He shares a personal story of his father's relentless drive to be the best, even if it meant being outshone by his son. Ultimately, the speaker believes that the goal is to empower individuals to be the best competitive beasts they can be, and to never shortchange themselves.

    • The Power of Conviction in the Face of AdversityBelieving in someone's innocence, despite public skepticism, requires conviction and a deep understanding of their character and dedication. Social media's unforgiving nature can lead to hasty judgments, but due process is crucial for fairness and truth.

The drive to win, no matter the competition or situation, is a powerful motivator for many individuals, including business leaders and athletes. Eddie Hearn, the discussion's focus, shared his personal experiences and conviction for boxer Conor Benn, who faced accusations of taking illicit drugs. Despite initial skepticism and public backlash, Hearn believes in Benn's innocence due to his history, dedication to the sport, and efforts to clear his name through various testing procedures. Additionally, Hearn expressed concern about the unforgiving nature of social media and the importance of due process. Lastly, Hearn discussed his personal worth and, if he were prime minister, his priority to increase youth participation in sports to combat the negative effects of social media and provide opportunities for ambition and growth.

    • Online community of Putin supporters view him as a peace-loving leaderEmbrace resilience, prioritize sports and physical activity, and limit screen time for overall well-being, especially for children.

Despite Putin being a controversial and hated figure in the world, there exists a significant online community of commentators who hold him in high regard, viewing him as a peace-loving leader. The speaker, a public figure with a thick skin and a positive outlook on life, emphasizes the importance of resilience in the face of negativity and the benefits of sport and physical activity for overall well-being. He also expresses concern about the negative impact of constant exposure to online content, particularly on children, and advocates for greater access to sports programs in schools. The conversation touched upon the importance of mental and physical health, the negative effects of excessive screen time, and the role of education and sport in shaping young minds.

    • Jackson Inkel's unique perspective on Putin's invasion of UkraineJackson Inkel sees Putin's invasion of Ukraine as a response to US-led actions, while many view it as an aggressive act. Historical parallels, like the invasion of Kuwait, show military intervention is not always limited to alliances or organizations.

There are individuals, like Jackson Inkel, who hold unique perspectives on geopolitical events, such as the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. According to Jackson, Putin's invasion of Ukraine in 2014 was a response to the US-led coup that installed a government perceived as hostile to ethnic Russians. Jackson believes that Putin's actions were aimed at ending the violence and preventing the potential escalation into a full-blown war. Konstantin Kisin adds that this perspective is part of a larger trend of distrust towards mainstream media and a belief that the truth lies in the opposite of mainstream narratives. Despite these views, it's important to note that they are not widely held and are considered a fringe position. The invasion of Kuwait by Saddam Hussein in 1990, which led to a military response from the US and its allies, serves as a historical parallel, illustrating that military intervention is not always limited to alliances or membership in organizations like NATO.

    • Historical alliances and moral dilemmas in Ukraine-Russia conflictConservative figures defend Putin despite contradicting values, Russian elites keep families outside Russia, historical context raises questions about foreign policies, motivations and definitions of 'Nazism' in conflict

The complex geopolitical situation in Ukraine and Russia has led to unexpected alliances and moral dilemmas. Historically conservative figures are now defending Russian leaders like Putin, despite his actions contradicting traditional conservative values. This disconnect is highlighted by the fact that many Russian elites keep their families outside Russia, indicating a lack of faith in the country's stability. The discussion also touched on the historical context, with comparisons drawn between Putin's actions in Ukraine and past interventions by Western powers. The debate raises questions about the motivations and consistency of foreign policies, as well as the definition of "Nazism" and its application in different contexts. Ultimately, the conversation underscores the complexity of international relations and the need for nuanced understanding and dialogue.

    • The gap between legal and public opinionThe presumption of innocence until proven guilty is crucial, but public opinion can still ruin reputations, as seen in Kevin Spacey's case, highlighting the need to uphold this principle and be mindful of social media's impact.

The legal system and public opinion do not always align, and the presumption of innocence until proven guilty can be easily overlooked in the court of public opinion. Kevin Spacey's case serves as a stark reminder of this issue. Despite being found not guilty in multiple trials, his career has been destroyed due to public perception. This highlights the importance of upholding the principle of innocent until proven guilty, even in the face of intense public pressure. The case also underscores the potential damage that social media can inflict on individuals, particularly public figures, and the challenges they face in rebuilding their reputations.

    • Accountability and Regulation in Social Media and MediaThe media and social media require more accountability and regulation to prevent false claims against public figures, but free speech should not be disincentivized. The media shares responsibility for thorough reporting, and the public plays a crucial role in promoting fairness and balance.

The current state of social media and the media at large requires more accountability and regulation to prevent the spread of false claims, especially against public figures. These unfounded accusations can have severe consequences, potentially ending careers. However, it's essential not to disincentivize reporting or speaking out by over-regulating or censoring free speech. The media also shares responsibility for thoroughly investigating and reporting on both initial claims and subsequent judicial findings. The public plays a crucial role in promoting fairness and balance in online discourse, ensuring that innocent parties are given the same platform as those making allegations. Tech companies need to be held more accountable for the content published on their platforms. Ultimately, a cultural shift towards a more nuanced approach to reporting and discussing allegations is necessary to prevent the Salem witch trial-like atmosphere that currently exists on social media.

    • Social Media Power and Influence: Wealth vs. ControversyThe ability to maintain a social media account should not solely depend on wealth, as it can have significant impacts on public discourse and influence. Controversial figures and private individuals hold power, and their actions can have far-reaching consequences.

Power and influence on social media platforms, including the ability to maintain an account, should not be solely determined by an individual's wealth. The discussion touched upon the controversial decision to allow certain controversial figures, such as the Ayatollah of Iran and the Taliban, to have Twitter accounts, while others, like former President Trump, have been suspended. The debate also highlighted the influence of private individuals, like Elon Musk, in making such decisions, and the potential consequences of granting such power to a private billionaire. Additionally, the conversation included a light-hearted segment about Mick Jagger's birthday, with the panelists expressing admiration for his energy and resilience at 80 years old. Overall, the conversation underscored the importance of considering the implications of social media power dynamics and the potential consequences of granting such influence based on wealth alone.

Assange is expected to plead guilty to a single espionage charge in a court appearance on a tiny US-controlled Pacific island and prosecutors will seek a sentence equivalent to time served.

Jeffrey Sachs: On Putin's Peace Demands

Jeffrey Sachs: On Putin's Peace Demands

President Putin wants peace. At least that’s what he wants you to believe.

The Russian dictator has, for the first time, outlined his terms for a ceasefire in Ukraine.

He’s demanding the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from four regions which are currently occupied by Russia, and which it claims to have annexed.

Italy’s prime minister Giorgia Meloni, speaking at this weekend’s peace summit of world leaders, said he’s effectively telling Ukraine to withdraw from… Ukraine.

But if Putin’s real aim was to feign innocence for his apologists and score another propaganda victory, he may have been successful.

To debate, We're joined by Professor Jeffrey Sachs.

'Real Martha' From Baby Reindeer Lawyer: Fiona Harvey WILL Take The Stand

Fiona Harvey, the "real Martha" from Baby Reindeer, is suing Netflix for a whopping 175 million dollars.

The 34-page lawsuit claims the streaming giant is responsible for "the biggest lie in TV history" over its portrayal as Fiona as a twice-convicted and twice-jailed stalker.

Its also contends that Netflix 'did nothing' to prevent Harvey from being identified and that, as a result, her life has been 'ruined'.

Media commentators say the result of the case could change how 'true stories' are portrayed in TV and cinema forever.

Is Joe Biden Fit for Duty?

A video of President Joe Biden wandering listlessly at the G7 summit in Italy made global headlines last week.

It appears to show a confused commander-in-chief drifting aimlessly away from world leaders - until Italy’s prime minister Giorgia Meloni retrieves him.

    Liberal media outlets screamed “misinformation.”

While the President appeared to freeze at a campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles on Saturday and had to be guided off stage by Barack Obama.

    Princess of Wales Returns!

    Princess of Wales Returns!

The Princess of Wales made a triumphant return to public duties this weekend.

It was her first official public appearance since Christmas Day.

Kate revealed that she is still receiving treatment, including chemotherapy, for an unspecified form of cancer. That treatment is expected to continue for several months.

But make no mistake, this was a huge moment for the royals in an historically wretched year.

King Charles, aged 75, is still fighting cancer too.

Conspiracy theories swirled for months about the health and whereabouts of Princess Catherine. Her badly-edited Mother’s Day photograph was an unmitigated PR disaster.

But this weekend, against all odds, she was back at her glamorous best. And the crowds loved it.

So, have the royals now turned a corner on a dark chapter?

Have the Kate-spiracies been banished for good? Or were they - in fact - correct?

And has there EVER been a more feeble attempt to overshadow a state occasion than Meghan Markle’s decision to unveil a range of dog biscuits on the very morning of Kate’s return?

Uncensored contributor Paula Rhone-Adrien, Royal Editor, Sarah Hewson & Royal Historian Tessa Dunlop join to debate.

But first, Fox News contributor, Dr Marc Siegel gives his thoughts.

    O.J. Simpson: The legacy?

OJ Simpson’s murder trial divided America.

His death from cancer at the age of 76 last week has had much the same effect.

The former NFL star was notoriously acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. A civil jury later found him liable.

Many believe he was acquitted by a jury who were angry about racial disparities in the justice system and wider society

So what should OJ Simpson's legacy be? And how much of his trial paved the way for the debates still simmering today?
