The supernatural, religion and death meditation

The supernatural, religion and death meditation

Our earth is littered with genies, walking mummy demons and clay monsters awakened through the crafty spells of Rabbis everywhere. It is through the power of religion, the supernatural comes alive.

This week, Reem teams up with Michael to discuss the topic of impermanence. Impermanence is a key theme in Buddhist philosophy illustrating the concept how everything changes and nothing lasts forever.   This ideology is then applied to society and their viewpoints on religion, the supernatural and death.  Focal points include Jinns, Golems, Pretas and death meditation.

    Cryonics

    Cryonics

Currently, 118 dead  people are  being cryopreserved in Phoenix, Arizona  in hopes to be "woken up" years later. Why? Because they believe this will win them a second chance at life.

This week of LOL Adulthood, Reem discusses cryonics and cryogenics. Cryonics is the low-temperature freezing and storage of human remains, with the speculative hope that resurrection may be possible in the future.

Is life after death is plausible? Find out in this episode of LOL Adulthood.
