    About this Episode

James "Jake" Dutton, 5'10" tall, 180lb, 31 year old former Coast Guardsman parked his 1998 Nissan pickup truck near the Cougar Reservoir on June 15th, 2012 and headed up the French Pete Trail towards the Three Sisters Wilderness in the Oregon Cascade Mountain Range.
Jake was never seen or heard from again.

There is unfortunately no clothing description for Jake and his Missing Persons case has been removed from nearly every database in the area due to Law Enforcement rushing to conclusions about a body that was recovered in the area a few years after Jake's disappearance.
While some news reports will state that Jake's body was recovered, the State Medical Examiner for Oregon at the time, realized six months after the body was recovered that it was not that of Jake Dutton.

Maureen "Anu" Kelly vanished on June 9th, 2013 while camping with some friends at the Canyon Creek Campground in Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
Maureen had said she wanted to go on a "Spiritual Quest" and at 5pm on June 9th, Maureen stripped completely naked, dawned a fanny pack containing a compass, matches, and a knife before crossing over Canyon Creek, heading northbound towards Forest Road 54. This was the last time Maureen was ever seen.

Our team will be heading into the Canyon Creek area of Gifford Pinchot National Forest before the end of 2023, searching for any sign of Maureen Kelly in hopes we can bring closure to her family after a decade of wondering what happened to their beloved Maureen.

The Sammy Boehlke and Derrick Engebretson case (Oregon)

The Sammy Boehlke and Derrick Engebretson case (Oregon)

Crater Lake National Park in the State of Oregon, is shrouded in mystery.
Known by the indigenous peoples of the area as a sort of no-man's land, where large bipedal "devils" and "stick Indians" roamed and kidnapped people. Often times hurling them into the crater filled with water below.

This weeks episode will cover two cases that occurred less than 30 miles from each other, with only eight years between their disappearances.
Derrick Engebretson vanished in 1998, 30 miles south of Crater Lake National Park in the Winema National Forest.
Sammy Boehlke vanished in 2006 from the famous North Rim Drive of Crater Lake National Park in central Oregon.
Both of these disappearances have confused law enforcement, search and rescue teams, and independent searchers for the past decade and a half.

Please keep the Boehlke and Engebretson family in your thoughts, and once again, if you find yourself hiking the back country near where these two cases occurred please remain vigilant for anything that may bring answers or closure to these grieving families.
