    Hi Champions!
Welcome back on « Today is a good day to » that is becoming for this year a special« this month is a good month to » where every month i am taking you for an exclusive journey behind the scenes of my preparation towards Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The purpose of this podcast format is sharing with you mindset tips & personal thoughts that i personally use when I’m facing difficult situations, with the desire to helping you grow your mind, develop your mental strength and become the best version of yourself!

Friendly reminder : the several tips I’m sharing are NOT magic tricks to make you happy forever, neither tricks to learn so that you will never be sad nor struggle a day in your life anymore. That’s impossible. The sole purpose of sharing these performance tips with you it is to give you some mindset tools you can practice, (thus, yes, mindset is a practice) in order to navigate your daily life a bit better. That’s it!

And of course; every piece of advice I’m going to share are not the only way to work on one situation, they are one way. This isn’t a 3h mindset masterclass on one specific mindset theme, this is a humble podcast episode. If you’re enjoying this podcast and you’d like to let me know or if you have any question about something I shared, or feedback you want to share, you can send me a personal message on my Instagram page @happy_lucie_,

I deeply hope you’ll find anything I’m sharing helpful.

    With tender, love, and care,

    Lucie

THIS MONTH IS A GOOD MONTH TO REFLECT OVER THE SUMMER

THIS MONTH IS A GOOD MONTH TO REFLECT OVER THE SUMMER

Welcome back on this podcast where every month I'm taking on a very special journey behind the scenes of my preparation towards Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Every month I'll talk about 3 topics related with personal situations that happened to me during the month prior, as well as thoughts and tips I used to help me get through it.

What are the 3 topics we talk about in this first episode ?

1: How to mentally deal with injuries ? And more than that : how to deal with unforeseen situations that are (very) bothering?

A : I consider things don’t happen to me, they happen *for* me.
B :  I asked myself « what are good things this unforeseen situation allows me to get ? »
😄 ask yourself « how is this situation allowing me to grow ? What are new things I can learn and practice thanks to that situation ? »

2: How to feel confident when you have to be good / to perform at important situations?

A: Remember past difficult situations similar as the one you’re going through that you succeeded at overcoming.
B: Find a way to get into your own zone.
😄 Don’t just get ready, stay ready.

3 : How to feel calmer and decrease your stress level during anxious situations?

A: Focus on one or two simple tasks.

If you want to let me know how practicing these tips went for you or just say hi, you can dm me on instagram with the biggest pleasure @happy_lucie_

    Until next month my friend,

Work hard, dream big, and never give up!

Today is a Good Day to Put Yourself First (podcast break)

Today is a Good Day to Put Yourself First (podcast break)

    Today is episode number 50 !! 🥳💃
Thank you so much for being on this journey with me ! Your presence means the whole world to me.

The self awareness questions of the day is :
How often are you allowing yourself to put yourself first and when are you actually thinking that you should be putting yourself first more in these situations ? When do you really want to set your boundaries and prioritize your needs, yourself, your desires over other people's ?

Checking-in reminder of the day : "if I say yes, am I gonna be present with a joyful heart or with a angry heart ? "

👉I'm taking a break from releasing episodes for August and the beginning of September because I'll be away with the French National Team. I can't give you a date of when I'll be back, but I'll be back !
🙏Please take good care of you in the meantime, because you can, you matter.
Ok bye now, you are amazing !

    With all my love,
    Lucie  💙

Today is a Good Day to Remember You Are Enough (part 4/4)

Today is a Good Day to Remember You Are Enough (part 4/4)

The self-awareness question of the day :

in average, how often are you having thoughts like « i’m not pretty enough » i’m not capable enough, i’m not smart enough, i’m not funny enough, i’m not worthy enough, and overall i’m not enough ?>

The audio extract of the day : Scooter Braun as a guest on Lewis Howes' podcast "the School of Greatness" : https://open.spotify.com/episode/6GA1YpBkyrDrSELbwOUXcf?si=da189596545a428f

    👉 The 5 points I mention :

    1.  the root of our ego is the fear of not being enough.
    2. A personal example about how i’m practicing reminding myself that I am enough.

    3. A disclaimer : understanding that you are enough doesn’t mean you’re absolutely satisfied with where you are in your life.

    4. Your mistakes do not define you.

    5.  An audio extract about how perfectly imperfect you are. (with Scooter Braun)

Today is a Good Day to Practice Self-Acceptance (part 2/4)

Today is a Good Day to Practice Self-Acceptance (part 2/4)

Self-awareness questions of the day :

How do you to practice self acceptance ? Or how would you wanna to practice it more ?
(you'll find other questions within the 7 principles I'm sharing)

Book of the day :  https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/39736045-love-for-imperfect-things

"Love for Imperfect Things: How to Accept Yourself in a World Striving for Perfection" by Haemin Sunim.
    The extract I read:

«  It’s okay that you have flaws,
how could our lives be as clean and white as a blank sheet of paper ?
Life naturally takes a toll on our bodies, our minds, our relationships.
Rather than choosing a life in which you do nothing for fear of making a mistake, choose a life that improves through failure and pain.
And shout out loud to your struggling self : I love you so much. »
