    In the first film of 2024 for the boys they are venturing to 1983 to take a look at The Outsiders.  Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and based on the book by S. E. Hinton this film features a whole slew of actors who were largely unknown at the time but went on to be some of the most recognisable faces that we know today.

    This week the boys bend the rules to have a look at 8-Bit Christmas which was released in 2021.  This may be a modern film but it is set in the late 80’s and follows a young lad who desperately wants a Nintendo for Christmas.

    This week the boys venture to 1984 to have a look at arguably one of the greatest stories ever written with Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.  This iteration is from 1984 and stars George C. Scott as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge.

    This week the boys jump in a Delorean and head for 1985 with arguably one of the most iconic 80’s films, Back to the Future.   

    Nearly 40 years later this film is still very much a part of pop culture and beloved by many including Darren and Matt.  Could this be another top score film?

    This week the boys take a trip with Frank Drebin as he tries to figure out why Nordberg was shot in this 1988 comedy.  This film was a hit that spawned 2 sequels and paved the way for a vast number of spoof comedies in the 90’s and beyond.  Lets see what the boys make of it and how the humour holds up 35 years later.
