On this episode of The Collage, things were a bit different. We had an ENTIRE VOLLEYBALL TEAM! The Texas Legends is a select volleyball team comprised of some amazing young ladies from different cities and schools in our area. These girls came to serve the meal here at Feed My Sheep so we couldnt miss the opportunity to learn from them. We learned alot about what it takes to be on a select team, how to have a team mindset, and what success looks like to them....plus alot more. We hope to have them back at the end of their season!

On this episode of The Collage, we sat down with our friends Karen, Jonah, and Roy for another conversation in our "You Said What?" series. In this series we discuss various stories within scripture from 4 different perspectives to learn from one another and possibly gain a knew understanding of who God is, what his word says, and how it applies to our life now. On this episode we look at Mary's Magnificat (Mary's Song) and the events surrounding the conception of Jesus found in Luke 1. This story can often get passed over or become watered down as another Christmas story but it is so much more than that. There are treasures to be found studying the life of Mary and her relationship with God. We really enjoyed this discussion so much, are thankful for our friends that take time to have these discussions, and pray that you will come to see and know God in a new way from these conversations. 

On this episode of The Collage, we sat down with our much smarter friends again to discuss a passage of scripture that many of us are familiar with from Sunday School growing up. The story of Zacchaeus even came with a cool little song that randomly pops into our heads from time to time. We hope that after listening to this podcast that you would see this story in a different way. The interaction that Jesus has with Zacchaeus is much more that a felt board story, it is about identity. It is about Jesus taking time to notice people for who they are and where they are. Our prayer is that you would see Jesus and people in a new way after listening. 

On this episode of The Collage we sat with Ronnie who is one of the managers at the new Floor and Decor store in Temple Mall. Floor and Decor, and Ronnie in particular have been amazing community partners with Feed My Sheep. They have supplied flooring for our Men's Locker Room, as well as the upcoming Sunrise Center that will focus on mental health. It was great to sit down with Ronnie and hear a little of his story how life has shaped him into the man he is today. We are thankful for Ronnie and all that he does in our community.

On this episode of The Collage we have a new edition of the "You Said What?" series where we sit with a few of our friends and discuss a certain passage of scripture. This time around we looked at the story of Jesus healing the woman with the issue of blood found in Mark 5. There are so many lessons on faith, compassion, desperation, how we view others, and so much more to be learned from this passage. We are thankful for our friends Jonah, Karen, Josh, and Jeff for sharing their insight on this passage. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this passage!

  On this episode of the Collage we spoke with our friend Tanya. Tanya is the Executive Director of a ministry called Hilltop Recovery. Hilltop Recovery is a local community partner here in Temple, TX that engages the women in our community and walks through life with them...no matter how dark that journey may seem.

  Tanya shares a portion of her life testimony, how God moved to get her involved with Hilltop, the struggles and joy of running a recovery ministry, and so much more. Our discussion went many directions but the main thing we came to was that we are all searching for worth in different things when we find our true worth in our identity in Christ.

This is the first episode of this series and we sat down with our friends Karen and Jonah to discuss the story of Rahab. If you are not familiar with the story of Rahab, this is a great way to learn about it. If you are familiar with the story of Rahab, this is a great way to learn MORE about it and get new insight that you may not have realized before.  Rahab's story is redeeming, challenges the way we see people, and shows us what one act of obedience can do to change the course of history.

On this episode of The Collage, we speak with our friend Shawn. Shawn showed up at Feed My Sheep this summer and has become part of our family. Shawn has been on quite an adventure the last few years. He walked from Ft. Worth,TX to Minnesota...then from there...to Florida, then to Pennsylvania....then back to TX. Now he is in Temple,TX and we are excited to be in the next chapter of his story.  Shawn has become an integral part of the feed my sheep family, running the locker room and encouraging anyone he comes into contact with. He is also kind of funny.  If you like Forrest Gump and Joe Dirt, this is definitely an episode you want to listen to.
