Emotional eating, stress eating, eating my feelings… I did it all, for most of my life.
I would even have “eating days” where I just gave no fucks and “allowed” myself to eat as much as I wanted, instead of facing what was really going on.
Thankfully, I’ve come along way. I specifically remember the first difficult Army school I went to where I didn’t feel the urge to stress eat. It was only two years ago. But now, I barely recognize the girl that used bury her feelings like that.
