Let’s Talk About Woo

I am so proud of this episode!  There aren't enough REAL conversations being had in the spiritual and self-development spaces.  It seems totally saturated with happy happy joy joy chats about how magical everything is and how we can all have what we want if we just dream hard enough.

But what about the people who are facing very real circumstances which make it feel almost impossible for them to dream?

I am the biggest fan of miracles and transformation against all odds, but I'm an even bigger fan of finding peace with where we are and not always feeling like we have to chase the perfection that seems to be so celebrated in the online space.

You Just Don't Want It Enough!

How many times have you heard that being said in the online space?  I've witnessed this multiple times in various groups and communities that were set up to help people master certain spiritual principals or concepts.  I've seen it used most around the topic of manifestation and so often used as a way to shut down any conversations that threaten to question whether or not the method works.

Not only is that a shitty thing to do, but it also dilutes the impact these concepts get to have when taught in full integrity and by people who have truly embodied and mastered what they are teaching.

Joining me on the conversation this week is Laura Anne Renwick and Sabrina Piergrossi, both of whom drop beautiful wisdom and insight based on their vast experience.

Celebrity Psychic Medium and founder of Psychic Skook, Katie Helliwell delivers a powerful presentation around how we can all strengthen our connection to Spirit.

Katie talks about the simple process we can all follow to connect in to our own personal spirit guides.  We learned that the guidance isn't always what we might expect or even want and I loved her personal story of how she asked for guidance around what she should be doing with her work, received a telephone call asking to work with her, and then continued to ask for the guidance!  Ha ha!  Very relatable!

Katie also delved into what to do when you feel like it's not working.  When you ask for guidance and don't get it, or when you get it but not to the full extent of what you asked for.

In summary, Katie delivered a beautiful reminder that miracles are happening all around us.  We just need to learn how to see them!

In this fifth and final instalment from our Money and Energy series, we wrap up our conversation and share some final thoughts that we hope will be helpful to those of you listening.

One point I want to underline is this notion so many of us have that we shouldn't complain because someone else has it worse.  Whilst this may seem like a helpful way to make ourselves feel better, what we are actually doing is diminishing our own experience and not allowing ourselves to process how we're feeling.

In this episode I am joined by Sabrina Piergrossi and Fleur Barnfather as we ponder the question "Is a million even the goal?".

This was all about the goal that many entrepreneurs have of becoming a millionaire and whether that's truly about the money or about something deeper.

We were also joined by a very loud drill towards the start of this segment and whilst I did manage to edit that out, I kept in Sabrina's analogy because it was pure GOLD!  By the way, I may share the outtakes from this episode at some point because it was ruddy hilarious!  Watch this space!

I think it's important to share these conversations because it's not just ok to be a little sceptical of this stuff, I actually think it's really important!  We should always honour how we feel about new thing when they are introduced to us and just because something feels too mystical and woo woo right now, it doesn't mean you can't explore it if you're curious.
