Shelly Cole has been an acting coach in Denver for the past 11
years. Before moving to Denver she was an actress in Los Angeles
for 12 years, working regularly. Shelly has an impressive iMDB
page which includes 3 1/2 years on Gilmore Girls, playing the role
of Madeline Lynn. Her resume also includes major guest starring
and recurring roles on NCIS, Criminal Minds, CSI NY, and Cold
Case, to name just a few. Her feature film roles include her
breakout performance as Sally, a drummer in an all girl band, in
the film Prey For Rock n Roll opposite Gina Gershon, Drea de
Matteo, Lori Petty and Marc Blucas. PFRR had its premiere at the

Jake DuPree is an international, non-binary burlesque performer and fitness instructor/
host. They made their Hollywood Bowl debut in summer 2022 performing in Kinky
Boots, directed/choreographed by Jerry Mitchell and starring Wayne Brady and Jake
Shears! They made their burlesque debut in Dita Von Teese’s Von Follies show doing
her famous martini glass act. They have headlined shows at the Folies Bergère in Paris,
Wintergarten Varieté in Berlin, the Musée Des Arts Décoratifs at the Louvre in Paris,
The Windmill Soho in London, and at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom in England. They
will be making a lifelong dream come true of performing at the Crazy Horse in Paris in
April! They consistently work with PopSugar Fitness to create fitness videos for
YouTube, as well as weekly workouts on Patreon. They danced on RuPaul’s Drag Race:

Aris Alvarado is an actor better known for his role as Caesar on “Gilmore Girls”. He was a series regular on Starz’s Head Case and Up Faith & Family’s Catalina Island. Tyler Cash has been one of my dearest friends for over 15 years. He is someone who gives me 100 percent permision to be myself which I think is so important in a friendship. We had an incredibly vulnerable conversation about social anxiety, imposter syndrome, weird dreams, Reese Witherspoon's Freeway, and the iconic Golden Girls. Tyler has many talents from make up artist to home renovation to performer. His company TYDY Spaces, based in Pheonix, AZ, has transformed the homes and enviroments of many over the last few years. Tyler has always been some one I have gone to when I need a good laugh, or a listening ear with no judgment. He is so very special to me and I am so grateful for his friendship, time and patience during this interview.  

Adam Choit is a filmmaker, podcaster, and producer. He hosts the People We Love Podcast, where stand up comedians and others from all walks of life talk about who inspires them. This episode was intended to just be a practice run, so listen with that in mind. I wanted to sit down with the person I am most comfortable with and see if I even enjoyed podcasting. I in fact did and this "trial run" has become the first episode of My Only Friends. On this episode I sit down with Sarah Quinn and we talk about what I hope this podcast will be, our love for Friends,how shows help us heal, and how we both handle our depression and anxiety. 

Sarah Quinn is my best friend and you will hear me reference her a lot on this show. She is an incredibly creative individual with a giant heart.
