What a glorious Psalm. When we rightly take this in we can have peace even in the midst of a challenging life. Enjoy.
God made an example of sin here to help Israel stay away from more of it. In this season of grace has the people of God been to casual about living in sin?
The fall of Jericho is an incredible miracle. In this season of history God desired his people to destroy their enemies so that their god's would not be a snare to Israel. How is God desiring we deal with unbelievers today?
God has provided for Joshua and Israel by parting the river, providing them with food and now He is going to miraculously provide them victory. He wanted them to remember Him and obey his commands. He is worthy of our devotion.
God is desiring that Israel would never forget the miracle of drying up the river for this crossing and that the remembrance of it could be passed on to future generations. Never forget what God has done for you.
Never forget the miracles of God. No matter what is happening this happened.
This is truly an incredible story. No matter your past God wants your future.
God is always seeking to fulfill his plan for his people. His people many times fail Him but he continues to come up with a means to move us toward his future fulfillment.
As a Christian people will rise up against you, turn on you, even betray you. Sometimes people will be against you because you are Christian. Jesus and all his Apostles were martyred. Make Jesus your trust. Build the house of your life on the firm foundation of Jesus, the Cornerstone.
Here are Paul’s closing remarks to the Corinthians. He covers a variety of ground from giving, to being strong men of faith, with hearts of love, and finally being people of honor in an honor-less culture.
This is an important chapter in understanding what is meant by resurrection for us.
Because Jesus rose from the dead we can be assured we will rise too!
We have alot to look forward to in the heavenly places and ages to come.
Finally, please listen to the end for grace for others who do not hold to the pretribulational rapture. Respect and honoring one another is important for unity and love in God’s church.

This is a very important chapter of scripture.
It is very beneficial even without context but yet I do believe what Paul is saying is amplified and clarified by seeing it is in the middle of two chapters on Spiritual gifts written to a church that in many ways was immature and I believe getting ahead of themselves in areas when they lacked Christian character. They wanted the gifts of the Spirit but lacked the fruit of the Spirit.
The teaching from Chapter 12 really should be listened to with the teaching from chapter 13 and 14.
