Are there people in your life that if someone did or said something hurtful to them, there'd be some bad blood? Pastor Scott illustrates this point in scripture so well by showing us ways that we can show God that we love Him... and that is simply by loving others.
In our faith, it's not enough to go to church or groups or read our bible and pray. As we grow to love God more, we end up WANTING to love those around us. And not just our friends or people we have a hard time getting along with. How about the people at church who aren't 'your type' of people? How about the homeless and oppressed? How about the one you don't agree with politically? How about the one that lives a different lifestyle than you?
And it's not enough to say you love them, but actually LOVE them through your actions.
