So I've really been digging the midtempo funky breaks lately. Whether you want to call it "Nu-Funk" or "Ghetto Funk" or whatever, it provides a nice background whomp to summertime pool parties, barbeques, and car trips. At around 112BPM, it's less demanding and more laid back than my usual fare; something to play when kicking back some beers in the backyard.
I put together Flight Level 380 over the past two months whilst traveling on a seemingly endless number of planes, buses, and trains across a vast tract of Europe. This one tends away from my own mashups/productions, but is in the same style as my typical DJ sets, blasting through 24 tracks in a brief 53 minutes. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
