That’s what Whytli Rogers, my young guest did right under the roof of her parents, and with whom she was so close, too. Her “popular-handsome-guy-at-school-religious” abuser started pursuing her at 15. At 16, he raped her but she told no one. Her behavior becomes erratic, she became more and more depressed until everything broke loose. Now she speaks up with incredible courage because her rapist has gone scot-free, co-founded a non-profit to help others like her, and became a life coach. Most of the time those thoughts are not helpful.  You judge and criticize yourself. You doubt and question yourself. You often feel shame.  Even if you’ve been out of the relationship for a while, these thoughts and feelings can still surface.  That’s why I’m offering to you a path to self-forgiveness so you can stop feeling “less than.” This is a path to self-compassion and self-kindness.
