DICEY STUFF 035. His Muscles Are Your Muscles

Host Lois Matson continues exploring friendship between men and women, and she expands on the differences and expectations in those relationships. 1 Corinthians chapter 7, verses 1-5, say that your husband's body is your body. He belongs to you and you belong to him. How cool is that?! You need have no guilt about patting his bulging biceps and saying, "Please use my muscles to open this pickle jar." Also, former VP Mike Pence chose to not ever dine alone with a woman. Was that sexist? Is he a misogynist?

    Encourage One Another - Audio

    Encourage One Another - Audio
This Sunday, we wrapped up our “One Another” series with a message from Pastor Mike Evans, titled “Encourage One Another.” It is so crucial that we focus on what the Bible teaches us about being involved in each other’s lives and how God calls us to interact with each other. Our prayer is that God would use this message to help those listening to take their next step spiritually by drawing near to God and to “one another” in terms of growing together in community.

    Discouragement and Encouragement

    Discouragement and Encouragement
This is the first sermon delivered in person at the church after quarantine restrictions eased. Elder Paul Landers brings a very timely and encouraging message of practical ways to deal with discouragement, and ways we might encourage ourselves and others around us. A nap? A snack? Yes! Today's service was also live-streamed on Facebook for those who could not attend in person. We encourage you to view the complete video of the service by going to: https://www.facebook.com/northridgelife/videos/2783847401737549/ (copy and paste into your web browser address bar).
