Although there is no set definition as to what a "giant" is, there are many stories throughout history documenting encounters with abnormally large humans. There has been excavations of large human like skeletons all over the world but for some reason they never seem to scientifically studied.

Listen in and keep an open mind as we review some of these encounters with giants and try to understand the true nature of these claims.

Primal Wisdom of the Ancients with Laird Scranton

Primal Wisdom of the Ancients with Laird Scranton

Exploring the mystery of why so many ancient cultures, separated by time and distance, share remarkably similar cosmological philosophies and religious symbolism, Laird Scranton reveals how this shared creation tradition upholds the idea that ancient instruction gave birth to the great civilizations, each of which preserves fragments of the original knowledge.

Looking at the many manifestations of this shared cosmological knowledge, including in the Dogon and Maori cultures and in ancient Egypt, Gobekli Tepe, Vedic India, Buddhism, the Tibetan Bon religion, and the kabbalistic tradition of the Hebrews, Scranton explores the thought processes that went into formulating the archetype themes and metaphors of the ancient symbolic system. He examines how commonly shared principles of creational science are reflected in key terms of the ancient languages. He discusses how the primal cosmology also transmitted key components of sacred science, such as sacred geometry, knowledge of material creation, and the nature of a nonmaterial universe--evidence for which lies in the orientation of ancient temples, the drama of initiations and rituals, and countless traditional myths. He analyzes how this shared knowledge relates to the processional year and the cycles of time known as the yugas. He also explores evidence of the concept of a non-material twin universe to our own--the “above” to our “below” in the famous alchemical and hermetic maxim.

Through his extensive research into the interconnected wisdom of the ancients, Scranton shows that the forgotten instructional tradition at the source of this knowledge was deliberately encoded to survive for countless generations. By piecing it back together, we can discover the ancient plan for guiding humanity forward toward greater enlightenment.

40: When we Tend to the Bees we Tend to Ourselves with Courtney Cosgriff of Honeybee Herbals

40: When we Tend to the Bees we Tend to Ourselves with Courtney Cosgriff of Honeybee Herbals

Such a wonderful chat with Courtney Cosgriff about what to plant in your garden to raise your vitality and to help pollinators thrive. We discuss different approaches to beekeeping and how to do so more holistically. We also discuss ways to honor and celebrate the bees.

“Honeybee Herbals is a business that is dedicated to providing Earth centered healing and education in the hopes of restoring our connection to the natural world. Honeybee Herbals is inspired by the divine connection between honeybees and plants, and harnesses this inspiration to heal communities through empowering individuals with tools to heal themselves.

I came to the world of herbalism, beekeeping, and earth centered traditions because like many others my heart ached to see not only what we were doing to this earth but also how much of ourselves we had lost in the process. In 2011 I had two near death experiences both car accidents, the first one led me to travel through Oregon where I met a beekeeper and the second one was caused by a wasp stinging me in the eye. It took some time but eventually I came to the conclusion that these and the many other honeybee related events that followed were not simple coincidences but rather signs pointing me to a deeper calling. So I listened and began a long journey of studying with various mentors until forming my own path and relationship to honeybees centered around a deep reverence and fascination with the history, myth, and magic surrounding them.  In addition to beekeeping I am passionate about education and activism on behalf of pollinator conservation. In the winter of 2016 I was hired as the resident beekeeper and educator at The GrowHaus in Denver. Since then I’ve taught in many of their education programs geared towards various age groups. I think the honeybees have many valuable things to teach us and I am passionate about sharing their wisdom with many. When I fell in love with the Honeybee I fell in love with the world.

My journey as an Herbalist and Nutritionist also began with the honeybees. When I planted my first garden for the honeybees I knew very little about the magic the plant kingdom possesses. With time I became mesmerized by the plants watching the honeybees travel from flower to flower the thyme, lavender, sages, and hyssop with their beautiful flowers and intoxicating aromas. I was captivated and inspired by this beautiful connection between honeybees and plants.  In 2012 I began school at Metropolitan State University of Denver. It was during this time that I was experiencing a lot of health issues myself while also seeing those I love most suffer deeply. I started to take classes centered around holistic therapies and I was captivated. I didn’t grow up in a household that exposed me to these therapies but when I found them I feel I found a big part of myself. I graduated from Metropolitan State University in 2016 with my Bachelor’s of Science in Integrative Healthcare. After graduating I wanted to dive deeply into plant medicine and nutrition so I continued my studies at The Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism. It was here where I really fine tuned my vision as well as going on a deep journey of personal healing and discovery. In June of 2018 I graduated from this school as a Certified Clinical Herbalist and Nutritionist and Flower Essence Practitioner with over 1,900 hours in clinical training and education. I also hold a Permaculture Design Certification from the Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute and an Herbal Wilderness First Responder Certification from The Human Path.

It is my vision to utilize my education and skills to bring earth centered healing and education to communities around the world in hopes of helping to restore the balance between humans and the earth through finding healing and balance within ourselves.”

Wisdom Keepers of Stonehenge with Graham Phillips

Wisdom Keepers of Stonehenge with Graham Phillips

Author Graham Phillips has been described as an historical detective, a modern-day adventurer, and a real-life Indiana Jones. Whether you agree with his conclusions or not, Graham’s findings are always original and thought provoking, and his books make an exciting read.

Graham S. Phillips  is a British author. He has a background working as a reporter for BBC radio, and he was the Founding Editor (1979) of Strange Phenomena magazine.

Stonehenge is just one of thousands of stone circles erected throughout Britain and Ireland for over three millennia from 3,000 BC on. How did this building tradition survive for so long, over such a large area and with such complexity and uniformity, when the people of the British Isles lived in separate, isolated communities and left no evidence of a central leadership or obvious communication network?

Graham Phillips argues that these stone circles are evidence of an astonishing system of healthcare and preservation of ancient medical knowledge that held together a society scattered across the British Isles. With stones aligned to the sun, moon, and certain stars, these ancient monuments enabled the precise timings necessary for the cultivation of medicinal plants. He explains how the megalithic priesthood possessed medical knowledge well beyond their time and may even have discovered a cure for cancer. Furthermore, because they had no form of writing, the megalithic people developed phenomenal memory techniques to preserve their knowledge over many generations, resulting in a class of wisdomkeepers that were not only healers but the living libraries of their culture.

Sacred Baths To Improve Your Physical and Spiritual Life With Dr. Paulette Kouffman Sherman

Sacred Baths To Improve Your Physical and Spiritual Life With Dr. Paulette Kouffman Sherman
Ancient cultures understood the art of bathing. Cleopatra and her contemporaries knew that a bath was an indulgence, a way to nurture the body and spirit. Bathing was an art form, a ritual to be savored. We don't need a fancy marble tub or extravagant wealth to create our own rituals. All we need are a few supplies, the right intentions and any bathroom becomes a Temple. We can nourish our body and soul, our relationship to ourselves, work, health, wealth, the Divine and our love life. With essential oils, crystals, candles, color therapy and visualization, you can create rituals to transform your life. You will release negative energy, raise your vibration and set the energy for what you want. I have been doing this for years and I feel and see the difference in my life. Even the actress, Teri Hatcher, and the Knicks basketball star, Amar'e Stoudemire, use a cup of red wine in their baths. Please join us Thursday to learn how sacred baths can improve your physical and spiritual life.
