You know Andy from starring on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE with Vanessa and from his comedy trio The Lonely Island, but did you know that as a kid he was a he wanted nothing more than to stay up late at night watching SNL and eating a sugary bowl of GREMLINS cereal? On this episode we discuss Vanessa's experience working on Andy's hit show BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, the origins of HOT ROD's famous "cool beans" scene and the time Jonah and Vanessa went to one of his movie premieres that may have actually just been a pizza party. We also get deep into Andy's impressive knowledge of movie-themed cereals ranging from GREMLINS to E.T. to BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT CEREAL and what it was like to mail-order items as a kid in the eighties and wait months for your to light saber to finally arrive. Finally we play a powerful round of YESTOLGIA OR NOSTALGIA where we explore our dad's disapproval of Wendy's Peppermint Frosty, our optimism about Radiohead's possible reunion (if you can call it that) and explore what our own version of "We Didn't Start The Fire" might sound like for all you Piano Man fans out there!

As the chill sets in across most of the Northern Hemisphere, join us as we review Palm Springs, a truly fun romance that'll make you feel warm on the inside and on the out! Maybe a somewhat overlooked stone cold classic, are all three hosts in agreement of this movie's brilliance?

We finish by discussing some of our favorite buddy comedies of all-time. There's even a little controversy on the #1 position! So get ready to slap some bass and listen along. Big time!

Television writer and producer Brigitte Muñoz-Liebowitz really struggled to find a character that she saw herself in -- a Latinx, first-generation American, striving to do her best as a woman in a male-dominated world. But when she found Amy Santiago (played on BROOKLYN NINE-NINE by Melissa Fumero), Brig REALLY found her -- she got hired to write on BROOKLYN NINE-NINE not long after the show began, and it kickstarted her career writing for TV comedies (People of Earth, Love Life, One Day at a Time, Gordita Chronicles).
