A native of Haskell, Texas, Goodenough became the program’s sixth head coach on March 27, 2012, and immediately transformed a program hindered by consecutive losing seasons into Lone Star Conference champions.

With many of the same players coming back from a meager 12-14 campaign, Goodenough maximized her roster’s talents and the Wildcats went on to share the regular-season title with Midwestern State at 16-4. ACU was picked to finish seventh but rejected the naysayers with an overall mark of 21-7, which was the program’s first 20-win season since 2004-05. The Wildcats also accepted their 12th bid to the NCAA DII South Central Region Tournament, which was their first appearance since 2008-09.

When considering athletics scholarships, you need to examine three primary organizations. The three primary avenues for athletics scholarships are through the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Within these organizations, there are further divisions based on the size of the institution. All of these organizations combine education and athletics to deliver the experience of a lifetime to the committed student-athletes playing and studying under this umbrella.
