His groundbreaking work has impacted more than 74 diseases including cancer, diabetes, blindness, heart disease, and obesity. Dr. Li has a diverse approach to combating disease. In his work as a physician, he also developed a dedication to prevent, not only treat, disease through food. Through this dedication, he decided to focus on writing his book “Eat to Beat Disease” where he collided the worlds of life science and cuisine to learn how to achieve great health through the science of food.

In today’s episode we specifically dive into:

Hosted by cancer survivor and philanthropist Vince Todd, Jr., Chairman and Co-Founder of the Heroes Foundation, and Heroes Foundation Board Member Daniel Abdallah, the Summits Podcast is a place for people to share their stories. Everyone has a cancer story. From battling a deadly disease to caring for a loved one, when we rise up and face life’s greatest challenges, we see with a new vision, feel with a greater passion, and think with a deeper perspective. Along the way, paths cross, journeys intersect, and missions converge. For Vince Todd, it was his own cancer diagnosis that led him and his wife, Cindy, to launch the Heroes Foundation to provide meaningful support to cancer patients, education to promote cancer prevention, and resources to advance research for a cure. What started with friends and family grew into a community. The Summits Podcast is an extension of that community. Our stories are what bring us together. Artists, athletes, doctors, business people - we’re all family members, community leaders, and activists. Everyone has a story. Anyone can inspire. No one battles alone. Join the conversation. Let’s climb the summit together.

    The Call on Christmas

    The Call on Christmas

The holidays are a joyous time of year. There's always a lot of anticipation. Getting or giving the right gift, cooking, shopping, etc.  You're opening presents, you're spending time with family, you're putting ornaments on the tree while White Christmas plays through your cozy home. But for the McFerron family and their little daughter Genevieve, the anticipation wasn't a present wrapped under a tree, it was waiting for a phone call.

17 Ania Volovique Ultimate Survivor Due To Positive Thinking

17 Ania Volovique Ultimate Survivor Due To Positive Thinking

In the last decade of being an entrepreneur, Ania experienced self-doubt, death of loved ones, the end of a marriage, horrific car crash and brain cancer. She could have easily given up many times, instead she chose to see them as lessons on her Spiritual and entrepreneurial journey.

"The most recent "Spiritual reroute" took place on August 8th, 2019, also known as Lion’s Gate - which in Astrology is considered the most powerful day of the year. After falling on my face -- literally -- from a seizure, I ended up in the hospital. The MRI scans showed a 5 cm-wide brain tumor which the doctors believed to be cancerous, requiring immediate surgery.  The medical staff were preparing my family for the worst-case scenario - I may not be able to walk again, and will require chemo-therapy and radiation.  Even though my body was not fully functioning, my mindset was focused on health and experiencing life fully. I envisioned watching the sunset and putting my feet in the grass. I kept on saying I don’t have cancer, I’m having a cancer experience.”

To everyone's surprise (except herself) 2 weeks post-surgery, she started walking again. A month later, the new scans were all clear-- no longer needing chemo or radiation. The tumor was completely gone.

THAT’S the power of mindset and intention!

If this resonates with you, hit the link below I know Ania would love to invite you to a complimentary 30-minute call where to discuss and identify the top 3 shifts you can make now so that you can fully express yourself, show up authentically online, and make an impact from a place of SOUL, not ego.
