"So I'm doing my thing and this wise guy starts messing with my plumage." - Carlton Banks
It's an interview episode! The beautiful Sports Illustrated model Drew Dorsey stops by the A.B. Salon to hang out as our first guest! We chat about the industry, dieting, and Beyonce, and get into an intimate rapid-fire question session!
The Yemoja "drama" gets addressed in response to the "unhinged" reviews and it goes to show - communication is your best friend. Also, surprise, misprints happen - so don't be a #$%^!
Thank you to all of the people that get special shoutouts for supporting the deck! Please keep posting photos of your spreads and sending me amazing messages.

About Maggie Wilson: As Seen In Bustle, Mind Body Green, Forbes, Insider, & Vice.
I'm a Metaphysical Manifestation Queen, a bestselling author, and a marketing executive. I'm a US-southern raised rebel, living in a vibrant pastel dream house near the beach in Southern California. For the last seventeen years, I have been working in the wellness + self-care space, teaching people how to truly be themselves through Metaphysical, books, and workshops. ...And we have achieved so much in such a short time. Before I started this work, my life was a huge question of what I was supposed to do as my purpose. After I found my true power using Reiki + Kundalini, I became obsessed with the idea that how we think can have so much impact on our daily lives, our future, and our power to manifest. I don't give weight to other people's opinions because 99.99999% of the time they don't know what they are talking about.
Professional accolades? Okay. I am a cannabis executive for a leading healthy edible in California and the first black cannabis sommelier. I've curated and hosted educational cannabis dinners for executives from multiple industries. My podcast has been listed in the Top 3 Apple Podcasts in multiple countries ( after 4 years of producing/creating my own podcast!). My first publication, The Metaphysical Cannabis Oracle Deck (Sterling, 2022 + Liminal 11) became an instant bestseller at #1 in its category and has been accepted into multiple international museums. I've taught at MSU Denver, been featured in Forbes and Spotify, and have celebrities using my oracle deck like the unforgettable India Arie.
That's amazing right, but for me, nothing compares to meeting someone who has taken a soundbite and changed their entire life for the better. It’s literally what lights me up!

It's one thing to see yourself in a certain way, but when imposter syndrome starts to creep in, you begin to question how you see yourself. I do believe that imposter syndrome is very normal and that one part of addressing it is to recognize that it exists. In this episode, I shared what it looks like to go through imposter syndrome and some of the tools that I am keeping in my handbook to help me work through those feelings of being an imposter.

It's women's history month! So, I am profiling black women making a difference in their careers. In this episode, I sit down with Miia Torrera, the creator of Miiato Comics. After over a decade of practicing corporate litigation, she bravely decided to pursue her dream of writing, and thus the ISA comic book series was born. She is the first Black female children's comic book author. Her stories are fun, age-appropriate, and most importantly features characters of color. For more information on Miiato Comics visit: https://www.miiato.com.
