Writer and author Krista Burton is on the pod to discuss the Wachowskis’ iconic lesbian neo-noir film, Bound! She also tells us all about her incredible new book, Moby Dyke: An Obsessive Quest To Track Down The Last Remaining Lesbian Bars In America, and her experiences traveling the country to write it! Now, for those who haven’t seen Bound, it stars Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly as Corky and Violet, an ex-con and gangster girlfriend respectively, who scheme together steal millions of stashed mob money. The costumes are by the Oscar-winner Lizzy Gardiner (The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Mission Impossible II, Ticket to Paradise), and while there aren’t a ton of looks, they looked DAMN GOOD. We also talk about the legendary Chanel Vamp nail polish, murder robes, Krista playing the jaw harp as a child, and how we’re going to hold a lock-picking party in honor of Corky. This week, in Raymond, Wisconsin, a grotesque scene unfolds, after body parts are found scattered throughout a rural town, leading to rumors of cults, vampires, and camouflaged people, running through the woods. In the end, it's something even more disturbing, a regular guy. An employed, married family man, with kids, who just happens to be into gory videos, violence, and has a pornography collection that is apparently open to friends & neighbors to borrow. The murder is as bad as it gets. Torture, dissection, and dismemberment, and a brain, jammed into the garbage disposal. But the story somehow gets even stranger, when all the facts come out.

Along the way, we find out that drinking is something to do when it's cold out, that brains are a tough fit for the garbage disposal, and that if you plan to murder, you'd better get rid of your porn, first!!

This week, in Cedar City, Utah, a neighbor's call to the police for a simple noise disturbance turns into something much scarier, when a mutilated, ravaged body is found, face down, in the living room. The scene is a bloody mess, and the carnage is like none there have ever seen. Just when you think it can't get any weirder, out of the house, comes a shirtless man, covered in blood, and screaming about Satan, and screaming towards the heavens that he wants to kill again! The whole thing somehow gets even wilder, when the case goes to court, and the possibility of death by firing squad is introduced!!

Along the way, we find out that some history is best left in the past, that whether the person is alive, or dead, it's still sexual assault, and that it takes a lot to cut a head off!!
