You don't get a nick name like Hot Rod Bob without a few stories.   Bob Beck is a Californian car guy who's followed his passion his whole life.  When people have said to him "you can't do that!" his response has been "just watch me!"

He's pretty much done it all in the car world; built and modified cars, worked for BMW and Nissan, written about cars and even raced them.  He's hosted a TV show, been a journalist for various magazines and event been a commentator following in the footsteps of his heroes!  

This episode is a first for Danny P on Cars!  It's the first time I've worked with a guest I didn't know!  My thanks to Bob for his time and for sharing his story with me!

For each episode I try to work with the guest to understand who their favorite artists are.

Dan and Al leave it all on the line in this episode of The Lightning Round. Dan and Al then talk about the previous week's polls on Twitter which left a distasteful taste in Dan's mouth. Al then asks Dan whether driving a British car in the United States would be a fresh act.
