    TRANSFORMING MOMENTS

    • There's always some element of a relationship
    • Transparency is very important
    • We have to show our value upfront

“Building a relationship is as much as just sending a text to say hello, or happy birthday or something. It doesn't have to take you to know, lunches and breakfasts and things like that. It's just constantly remaining a good person, top of mind to people.” - Aaron: It’s just about being a good person upfront

    Black Girl In Canada

    Black Girl In Canada

Have you ever wondered if other Black people experience the same things that you do?
Once I got off the plane and landed in Canada, I knew things were different and it wasn't long before I became aware that I was different.

If you want to know my experience as a Black Black Blackity Black girl in Canada (flips hair and screams I'm Black and I'm proud), listen to this episode and don't forget to tag @utyslookbook and share this episode on Instagram if you love it !

The best part of solo travelling and working/living abroad is being open to new adventures and Canada has been such a great place to build new memories.

    Happy Black History month.

Choosing a community that you can thrive in

Choosing a community that you can thrive in

Human beings are not built to do life by themselves. Whether you are an introvert, extrovert or ambivert who is looking for a community to help you cultivate good relationships so that you can dare for more in life, there are a few helpful tips that Tomide shares in this episode.

When you walk into a room, you have to remember that your perspective defines your outcome. I know we are no mostly doing virtual meetings but the same thing still applies here.

As an introvert, I share my experience of being easily overwhelmed and my experience in Newspring church. Some of the benefits of joining the weekly meeting and how some of the people have truly changed my life.

Please share this episode on Instagram so other people can be encouraged and empowered to take the next step they need to grow and dare for more in life. And don't forget to tag myself (utyslookbook) and Newspring hamilton (newspring_hamilton).

If you have any questions, send a DM to any of those pages as well!
