09: Einmal Vollbremsung und was du daraus gewinnen kannst.

    • Lesen
    • Kochen mit Kochbuch und Zeit :-)
    • Spiele entwickeln

    77: FNF - Without Sacrifice

This week on FNF, Coach Sarah touches on the very beginning of her journey.  It can be a slippery slope of are you using balance as an excuse to do or not to do something you know you need to do.  One thing is for sure - you aren’t getting through this process - getting your health back, WITHOUT sacrifice.  At some point, at some time, you will have to sacrifice something.

Turns out, our Kiwisavers could be a whole lot bigger if it wasn't for Robert Muldoon.

In 1975, Muldoon abolished the 37 week old superannuation scheme, but that's since been described as the worst decision ever made by a New Zealand government.

    Who we are

Block Club Chicago is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit news organization dedicated to delivering reliable, relevant and nonpartisan coverage of Chicago's diverse neighborhoods. We believe all neighborhoods deserve to be covered in a meaningful way.

We amplify positive stories, cover development and local school council meetings and serve as watchdogs in neighborhoods often ostracized by traditional news media.

    Ground-level coverage

Our neighborhood-based reporters don't parachute in once to cover a story. They are in the neighborhoods they cover every day building relationships over time with neighbors. We believe this  ground-level approach not only builds community but leads to a more accurate portrayal of a  neighborhood.

Stories that matter to you — every day

Since our launch five years ago, we've published more than 25,000 stories from the neighborhoods, covered hundreds of community meetings and send daily and neighborhood newsletters to more than 130,000 Chicagoans.

We've built this loyalty by proving to folks we are not only covering their neighborhoods, we are a part of them.

Some of us have internalized the national media's narrative of a broken Chicago. We aim to change that by celebrating our neighborhoods and chronicling the resilience of the people who fight every day to make Chicago a better place for all.

    3. Eric Bream - President of Bream Family Farms, ethics & business, intentionally creating inefficiencies , true responsibility , and seeing obstacles as opportunities and More

True responsibility is not just defining and acting on the minimal legal requirement, but outlining the maximum possible actions you could have taken.

It's not happening to you, it's happening for you.

Eric Bream's conversation reminded me of Michael Schur's interview with Tim Ferris. Michael Schur is the creator of the hit Netflix series, The Good Place  and written a book called, 'How to be perfect - The correct answer to every moral question."
