God's Gentleness With the Most Notorious Sinner

God's Gentleness With the Most Notorious Sinner

    Lent Week 4
Listen to Trevor Jones' sermon: God's Gentleness With the Most Notorious Sinner

This week Trevor takes a brief look at the story of Paul the apostle. Known as the most notorious persecutor of the first believers, making many of them the first martyrs. Yet, Paul comes to know God's love, mercy, and faithfulness.

We look at how Paul expresses and enjoys the gentleness of Jesus.
What is Paul's story? How does it relate to our own story?

In the story of Jesus, we aren't called to each be the same person... rather we are invited to allow Jesus to walk with us in the story of our own lives. Just as we are all unique, our uniqueness doesn't go away as we let Jesus walk together with us in our story.
We can each experience his love, mercy, and faithfulness throughout our journey.

"King Jesus came into the world to save sinners..."

Join us Sunday Mornings at 10 am.
Indoors in the Kaiser Chapel on the beautiful and scenic campus of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary 130 Essex St, South Hamilton, MA 01982.

    18WT #033: The Guess Who's Back Episode

    18WT #033: The Guess Who's Back Episode

18WT 033:  In this episode Janet and Patrick let their audience know who, what, where and when.  They start off with a desperate plea to Pringles to be a sponsor for the show as Janet makes duck lips with the product ( go to 18wheeltalk.com/youtube to see the footage).  So if you haven't guessed it they are baaaaack! The 18 Wheel Talk Podcast Show is back and they are full of new ideas for the show. First things first they talk about where they have been the last 3 months. With monsoon season active during the last few episodes the studio sprung a leak in the roof and almost wiped out all of the podcasting equipment on them. Because they don't own the place where they are living it took what seemed like forever to get the repairs done. So, with all that in the rearview mirror they look to the future of the podcast show and take you down the road of their vision of what's to come.
One of their ideas that they are going to try is to do a LIVE podcast on their YouTube channel as often as possible ( so subscribe to the channel HERE and click the notification bell). They are going to do YouTube shorts, Instagram reels, and Tiktok because in reality they are content creators.  They also have set up a patreon page to support the show and are working on different tiers.  If you want to support the show with some podcast show swag like T-Shirts, Coffee mugs, Shot glasses and even a mask to protect you from the CoVid19 virus just click HERE to get your swag on.
Patrick goes on to tell a story about how he "accidentally" tried to kill Janet. Well not exactly you see Janet.....

Ep 37 Richard Tombs "Wallabies Wheelchairs & Water"

Ep 37 Richard Tombs "Wallabies Wheelchairs & Water"

Today we speak to hard running Wallaby centre Richard Tombs.
Richard's story is a story of courage, hope and Australian larrikinism.
Richard, was apart of the successful 1991 Rugby world cup winning squad. Looking back that was the start of a golden era in Australian Rugby.
Outstanding wins against Ireland in the Quater Final and New Zealand in the Semi set up the world cup final against England.
Richard recalls the event leading up and after that final. He went on to play rugby at the highest level and was a very respected player amongst his peers.
Several years later and who would have thought, but playing a game of soccer would turn Richard's life around.
Breaking his C4 in his neck, Richard was faced with a life in a wheelchair without the movement of his limbs.
Whilst in Hospital and a routine check up from the doctor, they discovered Richard had movement in his toes.
    He had hope!
Listening to Richard's story you can't help but feel optimism and belief that adversity doesn't define or condemn you.

    Extreme Wetterereignisse in Europa (oc)

    Extreme Wetterereignisse in Europa (oc)
