182. U.S. Supreme Court Rejects Child Slavery Suit Against Cocoa Purchasers & Nevada Enacts “Cage-Free Egg” Legislation
The U.S. Supreme Court rejected a tort suit from the Ninth Circuit against cocoa purchasers for contributing to child slavery and the Conowingo Dam relicensing was appealed to D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Also, Nevada is now the ninth state to enact “cage-free egg” legislation.
