    182. U.S. Supreme Court Rejects Child Slavery Suit Against Cocoa Purchasers & Nevada Enacts “Cage-Free Egg” Legislation

    The U.S. Supreme Court rejected a tort suit from the Ninth Circuit against cocoa purchasers for contributing to child slavery and the Conowingo Dam relicensing was appealed to D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Also, Nevada is now the ninth state to enact “cage-free egg” legislation.

    174. FERC Issues Exelon’s Conowingo Dam License & Md. Court Orders MDE to Regulate Ammonia Air Emissions

    The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued Exelon’s Conowingo Dam license in accordance with Exelon’s settlement agreement with Maryland and OSHA issued an Updated Interim COVID-19 Enforcement Plan and National Emphasis Program. Also, a Maryland circuit court ordered the Maryland Department of the Environment to regulate ammonia air emissions under the state’s Clean Water Act expansion.

    Joe Endy is a 56 year old photographer from Pennsylvania who got into photography after back problems and surgery. Since then he's become a prolific wildlife photographer. In this episode, Joe talks about photographing Bald Eagles at the Conowingo Dam in Maryland, along with his creative process, and how he's able to create images with his spine injury.
