Happy Halloween! Trick r' treating might be cancelled, but Aya and Kevin have still got a sweet-tooth for some hyper-stylized studio entertainment with Joel "The Sex God" Schumacher's THE LOST BOYS (1987). Bodacious & bloody, THE LOST BOYS has stood the test of time as a meme monument (shirtless sax man!) and a geek den poster staple, re-writing the tenets of the modern horror-comedy. Did we mention that Jason Patric was super hot? The crew closes out Spooky Month with a dive into an 80s classic with Criterion and horror movie connoisseur Allison "Ally Novak" McIntyre!

Episode 73- Keith Coogan! Keith is the grandson of legendary actor Jackie Coogan, one of the biggest child movie stars of all time and also played Uncle Fester in The Addam’s Family. Keith was quite the legend in his own right however, guest starring in almost every big TV show of the 80s including Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Growing Pains, Knight Rider, Chips and my personal favorite Silver Spoons. He went on to star in feature films including Adventures in Babysitting, Fox & The Hound, Toy Soldiers and of course Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead. It was a blast chatting with him about his amazing resume and working in Hollywood. He is down to earth, funny and has great insight and stories!

The Listener's Choice Halloween is going strong! Following up from last week's Evil Dead double (well triple) feature, we are back with THE vampire film of the 1980s that won by a landslide that will never grow old, never die, but must feed. That's right, we cover 1987's classic The Lost Boys starring Keifer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, and Dianne Weist.
This is a film that so many people in the horror-comedy genre hold in the highest of high esteem. A film that paved the way for pop-culture juggernauts such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, and Supernatural just to name a few.
