It's a FIVE MONDAY MONTH so we're throwing a curveball for the finale of WHODUNIT MONTH - Scream 2! It's 1997 and Ghostface is back to stalk Ben, Jeffrey, and Kate with a whole new set of suspects, misdirections, and lots and lots of stabbing. Episode 412: You Make Me Wanna "Scream 6"

Episode 412: You Make Me Wanna "Scream 6"

We're closing out the Scream saga (again) with "Scream 6." Woooo! We really enjoyed the previous installment, so why not keep going? We are both watching it for the first time so anything can happen. In keeping with tradition, we pair it with 19 Crimes Martha's Chard. It's a bit of a standard chardonnay, but for a such a big brand 19 Crimes knows what they're doing.

    Metacritic Score: 61/100

Movie Sync Notes: We watched "Scream 6" for free on Paramount +. We start "Scream 6" 7:31 into the pod, and push play on part two 1:26:10 into the pod.

    Scream VI (2023)

    Scream VI (2023)

What's your favourite scary movie..? Well I'm not gonna say its this one but this franchise does hold a dear, dear spot in my horror loving heart. This continuation of the "Scream" Franchise that started back in 1996 by Wes Craven, and keeps up its appearances with all the tropes this flock of films is known for.

    Scream VI (2023): "FUHGEDDABOUDIT"

    Scream VI (2023): "FUHGEDDABOUDIT"

A Scream movie without Sidney Prescott? Fuhgeddaboudit!!! Just kidding. Despite the fact that Neve Campbell wouldn’t be returning for the latest installment in Ghostface’s franchise, we decided to still give Scream VI (2023) a shot here at Spooky Tuesday. On our latest episode, we’re traveling with the Core Four to New York, where Sam, Tara, Chad and Mindy are making new friends, facing new killers, and reuniting with some familiar characters. That’s right, baby — Kirby is finally back, and so are about a million props from all the previous films. If Scream (2022) was for the Stab stans, then this new flick is one for the OGs.

Scream VI Review: Is This the Scariest Sequel in the Franchise? — Episode 133

Scream VI Review: Is This the Scariest Sequel in the Franchise? — Episode 133

After original “Scream” creator Kevin Williamson split with the franchise following the fourth film in the series, the team at Radio Silence — a group comprised of Chad Villella, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett — pitched an idea for a fifth sequel that ultimately went onto find great success while helping to reinvigorate the series that laid dormant for over 10 years. “Scream 5” had barely been in theaters for two weeks when a sequel was ordered with a release date already attached for March 2023.

James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, the same writers behind the fifth “Scream” film returned to pen the sixth movie, but dramatic changes had to be made after series star Neve Campbell couldn’t come to terms on a financial agreement to make her return.

With Sidney Prescott no longer the focus, the attention shifted to the surviving characters from the fifth film, who were then relocated out of Woodsboro into the sprawling concrete jungle in New York City where a new and much more brutal Ghostface was awaiting them…

In the latest episode of Rewind of the Living Dead, we’re going to observe the rules of a franchise and trust no one as we review the 2023 sequel “Scream 6”….
