Debts No Honest Man Can Pay is over 2 rock-solid hours of musical eclectica & other noodle stories. The show started in 2003 at WHFR-FM (Dearborn, MI), moved to WGWG-FM (Boiling Springs, NC) in 2006 & Plaza Midwood Community Radio (Charlotte, NC) in 2012, with a brief pit-stop at WLFM-FM (Appleton, WI) in 2004.
In this episode, partially inspired by David Crosby's recent passing, we take a look at Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's 1970 hit, "Our House." We are joined in this episode by my brother, Spencer Cropper, for the first time since Episode 99 last June. Be sure to follow him on Instagram — @spencercropper — and wherever you stream your music to be kept in the loop about upcoming shows, as well as the impending release of his debut album!

This is a special tribute to David Crosby and his musical legacy with The Byrds, Crosby, Stills Nash & Young as well as his own solo career. He was an important musical and sociological figure of the 1960s and sustained his relevance through the decades since. These are select tracks that he had written and performed with both The Byrds and CSNY.

On January 19, 2023, musician David Crosby passed at the age of 81. Crosby's music was hugely important to Andrew Langer, and in this bonus episode, Andrew talks about that influence--from Crosby's music to how he lived his life. He talks about his relationships with his bandmates, a little about his love life, but ultimately gives a tribute to this musical giant.
Note: This was Episode 46, though I mistakenly introduced it as Episode 47. A fun and informative chat with Chad Cromwell. Chad discussed his long and successful career including his work with Neil Young, CSNY, Joe Walsh and Peter Frampton. Some great insights into his role as a session drummer, working with Kenny Chesney and much more.

The supergroup is a staple of the music business â a mash of egos, styles, genres, fan bases and, presumably, touring calendars.
What-ho! In this very special episode, David Crosby talks to me about the new 50th Anniversary box set of Crosby Stills Nash & Young’s masterpiece “Deja Vu”, as well as the future of the band, learning to control his temper, and how to die well.
Also, I dig into the show’s archive to bring you a little bit of my interview with Bay City Rollers frontman Les McKeown who sadly passed away last week aged 65.

They also present 5 political/protest songs each and break them down and talk about their significance.
