Pastor Mike continues the discussion of how a Holy God, set a part through His perfection and His justice, provides a path of justification for a sinful man. Mankind, though originally created perfect and Holy as in the image of God, freely gave legal ownership of himself to Satan as a result of sinning against God and thus cut himself off from communing with a Holy God. However, the story was not over, Jesus, the 2nd Adam, paid the price for mankind and provided a path of justification for all men. Every person has opportunity to be legally adopted back into the Family Of God if they choose to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Just as choice was a key factor 6000 years ago, it's just as important today... What's your choice today, God or Satan?

Pastor Mike and Chris spent the last 2 weeks visiting their daughter Aubrey in Kona, Hawaii who is staffing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) at the University of the Nations campus. This particular week was "Holy Spirit" week and we had the opportunity to share the power of the Holy Spirit with 90 young people readying themselves for ministry outreaches all over the world. During this amazing time we had multiple godly conversations that spoke into the life of our church here in Charlevoix, and this message is all about what God spoke to us about thru this group of excited and highly gifted young people. Pastor Mike finishes up the series on God's Harvest Laws with the Law of Interval. This law or principle is the glue that holds all the preceding principles together. Interval has two major directives, Time and a Commitment to Consistency. God's timing is always right, God is never in a hurry and he understands the Principles of Harvest and He is always in control. The second directive is the commitment required of a Christian to be consistent in "doing good" in the process of waiting for God to bring the harvest. God only asks for a consistent effort on our part and allowing Him to be the God of the Harvest that He promises...

Pastor Mike continues in the Series of God's Harvest Laws with the 3rd of four. This week he speaks on the Law of Increase which states that we will Reap MORE then we Sow. This very significant principle gives us assurance that the "cost" of living a righteous and holy life will be greatly rewarded as God bountifully gives us a harvest of righteousness many times over what we invested. The hard times of life may seem overwhelmingly too difficult for us and too much to bear, but in the harvest laws that God has established HE is telling us that as we obediently act and choose to invest ourselves in His righteousness, He will promise an eternal reward that will far outweigh the light and momentary trouble. What a promise and what a reward, it's all worth it in the end...

He used a PowerPoint which is attached to share a number of facts about the importance of "involved dads" in the lives of his children. And then correlated it with the importance of keeping God, our "Heavenly Father" engaged in the life of our society. A study was completed as a result of prayer being taken out of the public schools in 1963 was discussed. It's alarming to see the areas of decline in our society that correlate with this legal action. God's presence removed is the leading contributor to the downfall of our society... Pastor Mike finishes the series of Faith & Works as he discusses the 3 groups mentioned in Gordon MacDonald's book "Who Stole My Church". This discussion brings the church as a corporate body and personal lives into accountability. We will be challenged as a body of believers into which group we are as our personal lives ultimately create the makeup of the corporate body. The challenge comes to us all as to which group we belong to and our willingness to allow the Holy Spirit to bring the changes into our lives to embrace Godly changes and growth.

Pastor Mike continues in the discussion of Faith combined with Works. We talked in past weeks that God's original intention for Mankind was not to have to be redeemed, but rather it was to live in fellowship with Him and together work and the tend the Garden in which God intended man to live. This Godly intention was intended to be eternal... However, we all know that man made a bad choice and sin entered the world and everything in the garden changed forever. God put "Plan B" in effect, and that is the redeeming power of Jesus blood and His one-time sacrifice for our sin... Once received by man, then God's original intention to tend the garden takes a new dimension in our personal lives as the micro-garden is our heart.
