Perimenopause & Nutrition: How to Make Your Symptoms Suck Less!

“It's so much more relieving when you have a plan. I can't emphasize enough having nutrition planned out. Even this color-blocking system has been a game-changer.”

Ever felt like perimenopause was the universe's way of testing your limits? That's exactly where our host Taryn Perry found herself, navigating the unpredictable tides of hormonal change, before realizing that what she put on her plate was a key part of the equation to relief. This episode is a candid sharing of that epiphany, where you'll learn how the synergy of nutrition and a holistic lifestyle can turn the tide in your favor during perimenopause. You’ll also see the importance of understanding your hormonal health with a comprehensive blood panel—it's like having a secret conversation with your body that could change everything.

If your life's stressors are piling up like a Jenga tower waiting to topple, you're not alone. Taryn unpacks the ways we can artfully manage the stress of erratic cycles and life's relentless demands. From the sacred act of penciling in 'me time' to the underrated bliss of unplugging from the digital world, Taryn gives us a look into her perimenopause toolkit. It's about finding that sweet spot where taking care of your mental health also means taking the reins on your hormone health.

Wrapping up, let's talk color blocking—not for your wardrobe, but for your life! Imagine mapping out your week with colors that bring vibrancy not just to your planner, but to your every day. It's not just about ticking off to-dos; it's about crafting a lifestyle that celebrates your strengths and gives grace to your vulnerabilities. Making Business Decisions & Dating During Your Cycle w/the Menstrual Mogul

Making Business Decisions & Dating During Your Cycle w/the Menstrual Mogul

Should you be making big business decisions while on your period? Should you go on dates while in your ovulatory phase? And when is the best time to skip meetings during the month?

On today's episode, I'm chatting with Jacqueline — AKA the Menstrual Mogul. As a Cycle Sync Coach, Jacqueline is known for disrupting narratives in the entrepreneurial space when it comes to being a CEO with a cycle.

We chat about the monthly cycle phases, what you should and shouldn't be doing during each of them, and the red flags you might be experiencing during your ovulatory and menstrual phases. And yes, I also ask Jac about when the best time of the month is to date someone new.

If you're a menstruating female founder or business leader, this episode is for you!

    About Jacqueline:

Jacqueline is a Cycle Sync coach for female entrepreneurs and not your average women. As a 10 year vet in the online space she realized the secret to building a sustainable business and avoiding burn out is by prioritizing our hormones and making our cycle the main character. Jacqueline prides herself on educating women in a way that never makes them feel like they are in a classroom or doctors office so that the information can trickle down to all generations of females!

Cycle Syncing; Using Ancient Ritual & Practices to Support Your Menstrual Health

Just like nature, us women have our own inner seasons.

As you move through each season your energy will ebb and flow. One way to support this energy shift, your womb, and menstrual cycle is through cycle syncing. This is a practice of adapting your health and lifestyle habits to fit the four phases of you menstrual cycle.

In this episode I discuss how these energy shifts can show up and how to support your inner seasons through the use of ancient rituals and practices. Practices including somatic release, yoni steaming, journaling, yoni dearmouring, and much more.

By tuning into these changes in your energy and using these practices talked about in the episode, you tap into your power and can improve your menstrual health.
