    Adapting to Unexpected Situations: A Conversation with Joe Kastrinakis

    Adapting to Unexpected Situations: A Conversation with Joe Kastrinakis

    In this episode of "The Way Up Podcast with Geoff Knoll", Geoff interviews Joe Kastrinakis, a husband, father, real estate agent, and Army Veteran. Joe shares his experience of adapting to unexpected situations, particularly in light of his youngest son's autism diagnosis. He talks about the importance of being willing to reach out for help from organizations that have done extensive research on the diagnosis and how that has helped his family. Joe also emphasizes the value of intentionally putting oneself in a situation of struggle, repeatedly, to make it less stressful over time, rather than avoiding it altogether.

    076: My #75Hard Journey

    076: My #75Hard Journey

    Today I am sharing my recap from the #75Hard program which I just completed last week! I hope you enjoy it and consider maybe taking on this or something like it in your life! It will change you in ways you cannot imagine!

    Anytime you decide to do something that you’ve never done before it can feel kind of daunting. You may ask yourself- will I really be able to finish this thing? What will people say if I don’t? Do I really have it in me to be consistent for 75 days? All of these and many more questions tend to fly through our heads when we consider taking on a challenge, but the important thing is to make a decision and actually do it. Your mindset is what matters and this program will absolutely build your mental toughness!

    Here is what I learned and took away from actually making the decision to DO IT! Enjoy and  I would love to know your biggest takeaway after you listen! Send me a DM on Instagram
    @livingjoyfulandwell

    @andyfrisella is the  creator of the #75Hard Program if you want to check it out! His podcast is called The REAL AF and the episode that describes the program is episode #14. FYI- he is raw, real, and in your face so be prepared to be schooled! 👊🏻Like all of us, he isn't for everyone, but I like his straight and to the point attitude!

    In the episode I referenced the Noom app. Here is the link if you are thinking about giving
    Noom a try

    If you haven’t already, please consider heading over to Apple podcasts and leaving a review- the more positive reviews, the more eyeballs we will get on this podcast and the more Mom’s lives we can impact. You’re the best! Thank you so much!
