    Elohim - The Creator

    Elohim - The Creator

    The Names of God

    Elohim - The Creator

Welcome to number three in our The Names of God series. This week, we’re meditating on God the Creator.

You have been created by the Creator.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. - Genesis 1:1 NLT

Created in His image to be like him.

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” - Genesis 1:26 NLT

How then should we act? Jesus revealed the way; demonstrating to us who our father is and what he is like.

No one has seen God [His essence, His divine nature] at any time; the [One and] only begotten God [that is, the unique Son] who is in the intimate presence of the Father, He has explained Him [and interpreted and revealed the awesome wonder of the Father]. - John 1:18 AMP

Blessing you to walk in the fulness of your identity, just as Jesus demonstrated, so that you may release God’s kingdom everywhere you go.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. - Matthew 6:10 AMP

    Amen!

Seizing vs. Receiving Power – Firstborn E2

Seizing vs. Receiving Power – Firstborn E2

It’s not explicitly stated, but the theme of the firstborn first appears in the opening narratives of the Hebrew Bible. In Genesis 1 and 2, Yahweh elevates humans, the latecomers of creation, to rule the land. In Genesis 3, a snake, who is some kind of spiritual being, tricks the humans despite their authority as God’s image bearers. This story is echoed in other accounts of sibling rivalry that continue throughout the Hebrew Bible. Join Tim and Jon as they discuss the land rulers and sky rulers and the theme of the firstborn in Genesis 1-3.

    Psalm Chapter 82

    Psalm Chapter 82
The world that we reside in is a world of injustice, a place of unrighteousness, a place that is unholy and impure, a place where evil thrives, we need to realize that this is a world of darkness where that which is wrong, seems right to most of the world. And when we look at Prophecy, both the prophets from the Old Testament prophecy in the New Covenant, we learned something as we approach the end times, and I believe we are, we should have a prophetic assumption, a prophetic expectation. And that is things are going to get worse, there's going to be more and more injustice in this world. So if you should experience justice, praise God, but realize it is rare. Author KEN GOUDSWARD is our guest, and we will be discussing  his thought provoking "UFOs in the Bible."  Is the Bible an early source of UFO documentation?  Does the Bible disclose different craft?  Are angels really misidentified as ETs?  We'll also discuss Ken's research into Moses with an emphasis on the magic show between Moses and Pharaoh.  We will also look at Yahweh and the Elohim.  What do the ETs want with us?  We will get updates from any sightings in western Canada.  This will be a riveting discussion.

287 - Raëlism: UFO Sex Cult?

287 - Raëlism: UFO Sex Cult?

Did you know that Jesus was half-alien? And so was Buddha? And Muhammed, Joseph Smith, Moses, Abraham, and many other proclaimed  prophets throughout history. There are 40 in total, and a failed French pop musician and wannabe race car driver, Claude Vorilhon, claims to be the final and most important one. He's "Raël," which he says means "messenger of the Elohim." And who are the Elohim, in Claude's mind? A race of highly evolved aliens who created humanity 25,000 years ago. And they're coming back soon to either obliterate us, or raise our consciousness substantially and teach us how to use incredibly advanced technology, such as a machine that can clone anyone in a super cool sci-fi way that allows you to live forever.  Claude and his Raëlians have a lot of interesting beliefs! And they're very, VERY into sexual freedom. Raëlianism seems to be more about sex than it is about aliens. And it is also part of a very interesting modern branch of theology known as UFO religion. I gotta weird one for you this week - hope you enjoy it!

Psalm 45: A Song about the Son

Psalm 45: A Song about the Son

    Psalm 45

Introducing, Jesse Martin. Jesse is working with Andrew Roberts and the Livingston congregation this summer to consider making preaching his life's work. We are super excited he gets to join us for the podcast today.

Normally, we find Jesus in the psalms on Friday. But this is a royal psalm. And these psalms just can't help themselves for bringing Jesus into the conversation early. Jesse and Edwin discuss how this psalm is about God's son, the king, and how that ultimately means it is about Jesus, our King.
