Verse By Verse: Ephesians 2:1-10 - From death to life by grace through faith!

In this episode of Verse By Verse, we will cover Ephesians 2:1-10. This section of scripture will clearly teach us that we were dead in our sins and that we need a savior who is able to raise us from the grave. This salvation only happens by grace through faith in Jesus Christ! Plus some bonus teaching on how baptism biblically fits within this clear teaching of only being saved by the grace through faith in Jesus. What must we do to be saved and receive the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ?

Ephesians Part 5: By Grace Through Faith (Ephesians 2:1-10)

Ephesians Part 5: By Grace Through Faith (Ephesians 2:1-10)

Do you ever feel dead? Or at least not very alive? Like you're stuck in your sin and just can't seem to live like you feel you should? The Bible says that before Christ we were dead in our sins, incapable of life. But in Christ we are now, by grace through faith, made spiritually alive, raised up with Christ and seated in heavenly places with Jesus! What a wonderful gift it is to be alive in Christ!

    Grace Alone - Ephesians 2:1-10

    Grace Alone - Ephesians 2:1-10
South Side Baptist Church Abbeville, South Carolina Pastor Zack Little October 31, 2021 Sunday AM Service Sermon Notes: Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone according to Scripture alone for the glory of God alone. Salvation is a free gift of God based on his gracious choice to love and save, not our works to earn his love and salvation. 1. Only grace can raise a sinner from death to life. 2. Only grace can provide a follower of Satan with a seat in heaven. 3. Only grace can turn an object of God’s wrath into a recipient of his kindness. 4. Only grace can provide salvation as a gift. 5. Only grace can replace a life of sin with a life of good works. https://www.facebook.com/ssbcabbevillesc

Transformed in 2018 - You Can Know God

Joe Coffey | In Ephesians 2:1-10, we read that we were dead in our trespasses and sins, but because of God’s great love and grace, we have been saved. Because we are naturally spiritually dead, we have little desire to put God at the center of our lives. While we could act like the moon—a cold, dead rock that still reflects the brilliant light of the sun to illuminate the world—we choose not to do so. We could put God at the center of our lives and choose to orbit him, reflecting his grace and radiance to the world, but we want to be the sun, not the moon in our lives. We want God to orbit around us.

    Meaning in LIFE (Ephesians 2:1-10).

    Meaning in LIFE (Ephesians 2:1-10).
Meaning in LIFE. Ephesians 2:1-10. In this sermon, Mike explores how we can find true meaning in life by examining Ephesians 2:1-10 and by sharing his own story. We are all looking for meaning in life; for a deeper sense of significance and purpose; for a deeper sense acceptance and belonging; and for true security and a sense of being loved. But where can we find this meaning? Ultimately, only through our relationship with God.
