Episode 4's coffee talk is focused on what it takes to be an excellent teacher.  Right now, that definition is being shaken and altered for so many educators yet the core values of excellent teaching are staying the same.

It’s a simple recipe and one that stands the test of time, like thousands of years of time. A recipe that is best put together before the momentum of the day begins and the one that is so simple, we make it hard and give up.

If you want to maximize your success and happiness, you must engage purposefully in all of the key areas of life (career, romance, friendships, recreation). Asking the question “what for?“ is key to accomplishing this aim. 

Craig and Jon discuss how “what for?” focuses your mind on your goals and on how best to achieve them. They also talk about how certain types of answers to this question can lead one astray.

It is common for organizations to proxy web traffic so they can place restrictions on what websites can be visited by employees. To make the management of allowing or denying access to a large number of sites easier many web proxies utilize categorization engines to group sites into various subjects. Uncategorized sites are generally blocked. In this episode I show how it's easy to locate recently expired domains that have been categorized already, and can be utilized to get past web proxy filters. Additionally, I show how easy it is to set up a trusted certificate on the payload handler to encrypt the session using a custom cert.
