    May 2023 Astrology Forecast

Co-hosts Megan Lund and Ryan Marquardt kick off their first astrology forecast episode, a monthly series that drops at the end of every month to fill you in on the planetary movements taking place in the month ahead.

May 2023 is packed with many significant planetary movements, including four planets changing signs and a powerful lunar eclipse in Scorpio. The month promises to be a significant time of change that virtually everyone will feel in one way or another! You'll also hear about the best and worst astrological days with a rapid-fire "good day/bad day" section at the end.

Please note that the audio quality for this episode may be less sophisticated than usual, due to Ryan flying from LA to visit Megan in Charleston (the first time we ever met in person!) and forgetting to bring his microphone. Forgive us.

How do you think the cosmic energies will play out for you this May?

    Key Takeaways:

    • Four planets - the Sun, Venus, Mars and Jupiter - are changing signs this month!
    • A lunar eclipse in Scorpio bringing hidden truths to light!
    • A rapid-fire breakdown of the best and worst days in May, and why!

Our Scripture today is very difficult. Now, normally when I say that, it is because perhaps the language, the grammar, the construction of the words, make it hard to understand. This is not what I mean about today's passage. In actuality, our passage that we're going to be study is most easy to understand. Why do I say it's a difficult passage, because it's hard to implement it into our life. The End of a Witch’s Story - The Book of 2 Kings

The End of a Witch’s Story - The Book of 2 Kings

In this Bible Story, Jehu is used by God to rid Israel of evil. He kills Jezebel and all the remnants of king Ahab. He also toppls the temples of Baal along with all its followers. Eventually, he succumbs to his own inner evils and strays away from God. This story is inspired by 2 Kings 9:30-10:36. Go to BibleinaYear.com and learn the Bible in a Year.

Today's Bible verse is 2 Kings 9:34 from the King James Version.

Episode 139: Jehoshaphat, in an attempt to broker peace between him and Israel, betrothed his son Joram to Ahab’s daughter Athaliah. But because the wicked and idolatrous nature of her parents was in her, both Jehoram and the nation of Judah would be led astray. And as he, his kingdom, and his sons passed away; his wife Athaliah plotted. Determined to stay in power, she killed all of her grandchildren so that the line of David could not stand in her way. But God would not let her evil stand in the way of His promise. Jehosheba, Athaliah’s daughter, hid away one of Ahaziah’s sons in the temple to be raised by the priests and taken care of until he could become king!

Jehoshaphat and Ahab - The Books of 1 Kings & 2 Chronicles

Jehoshaphat and Ahab - The Books of 1 Kings & 2 Chronicles

In this Bible Story, Jehoshaphat becomes king over Judah and rules righteously. He sends out teachers and priests to care for the people, and teach them God’s ways. However, his alliance with Ahab the King of Israel proves to be unwise, as Ahab leads them into an unwinnable battle. This story is inspired by 1 Kings 22 & 2 Chronicles 17-19:3. Go to BibleinaYear.com and learn the Bible in a Year.

Today's Bible verse is 2 Chronicles 17:10 from the King James Version.

Episode 126: Jehoshaphat, King of Judah, spent his time fortifying cities and tearing down idols. He also sent teachers and priests to the surrounding territories so that they might know God. What the King was doing became so influential that even other nations such as the Philistines took notice and sent tribute. Jehoshaphat wanted to extend this peace to his brothers in Israel, so he made an alliance with King Ahab. During their celebration, King Ahab requested Jehoshaphat’s help in reclaiming some territory. But Jehoshaphat wanted to hear from the Lord first. So Micaiah was called in and prophesied that this battle would be King Ahab’s last.

Ezekiel 13: Hope I'm not one He hates...

The Word of the Lord came to Ezekiel. Join us here at the Treadweary Podcast as we begin a lengthy study of the book of Ezekiel. Who are these godless preachers? Am I one of them? Should we fear that we are preaching and speaking from our own hearts and souls? How do we hear and/or speak words of peace when there is no peace? What is our part in the work of death and resurrection and how do we get it wrong? How bad could things be if we do not speak to all sin, but also bring the truth of the Gospel of life in Jesus?

We Have Been Warned, So We Must Be on Guard

Are you prepared to recognize and resist cults and false teachers that are willing to not only deceive you, but even destroy you? The Apostle Peter warns us that the danger is real, and history proves this again and again—not only in the famous Kanungu disaster, but in cults large and small, right up till now.

Rodgers Atwebembeire unpacks 2 Peter 3:17–18 and applies it to our real-life situations in this compelling interview.

The Spirit of the Antichrist, Apostates, and False Teachers | Ep. 24

The Spirit of the Antichrist, Apostates, and False Teachers | Ep. 24

John describes the spirit of the antichrist as a spirit among believers. Jude talks about apostates as those who sit and eat at your table. Our confession and belief in Jesus must not be one merely with our mouth, but a revelation of our heart and a conviction in our spirit. In this episode I break down what the spirit of the antichrist is. I also talk about how to discern apostates and false teachers. Buckle up, it's going to be a good one. Make sure you listen to the end for the full revelation. God bless you and thanks for listening. You can view the ministry God placed in my heart here: andrewpatocchi.com
