Support the show60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday: A Grab Bag of Inspiration
Hello to listening in South Bend, Indiana!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds (and a bit more) for Thoughts on Thursday with your host, Diane Wyzga.
Remember the grab bag game? Maybe you played it in school or at parties. Everyone brought a small wrapped gift, all the gifts went into a bag. One by one each child would reach in to the bag and pull out a gift. Maybe you liked what you got. Maybe you exchanged your gift with someone else. At the end of the day everybody came away with something.
The following is a small grab bag of 5 inspirations chosen for you:
“Well, I've often felt that dreams are answers to questions we haven't yet figured out how to ask.” [David Duchovny playing the character Fox Mulder The X-Files 1995)]
“Always remember Bilbo, when your heart wants lifting, think of pleasant things... Eggs and bacon. A good, full pipe. My garden at twilight.” [Gandalf & Bilbo Baggins]
“Do words mean different things to men & women? And if they do is it possible that we have lost something in the process of defining them? And if that’s so, what about the stories? What’s gone missing?” [The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams]
"When nothing's working, it might be a cosmic conspiracy to get you to experiment." [Caroline Casey]
“What’s really important here is not the big things others have created but the continuous, one-by-one small things you yourself have and are. Never underestimate your power as a creator!” [Quarter Moon Story Arts]

The devil is in the details. The Cult has convened to consider the Quality of Campbell in Season 6, Episode 7 of The X-Files. Why? It's no mystery: guest star Bruce as Wayne Weinsider, a seemingly normal suburban husband with one hell of a secret.
