In this FUBCON Session of Real Estate Team OS, Kendall Bonner shares her journey from attorney, to successful listing agent, to franchise broker/owner, to team leader.

Within her team, she seeks to help two underserved communities within the real estate industry through training rather than mentorship.

Within this conversation, she explains why and how more brokers can embrace teams.

Watch or listen to this session for insights into:
    - The path to creating more repeatability, scalability, and predictability in the business
    - The “fun and horrible” implementation of the EOS system after reading Gino Wickman’s Traction
    - How serving as an attorney benefitted her as a listing agent, with scripts, and with questions
    - The motivation to start a franchise brokerage, then start a team, then live in both worlds before selling the franchise
    - Starting the team by starting recruiting
    - The most powerful tool in negotiation that “works every time”
    - Serving two underserved communities in real estate as a team leader (newer agents and agents without large spheres of influence)
    - Why “teams are the future”
    - The problem with the “mentorship” myth and what agents really need instead
    - What their onboarding process looks like and why it’s structured that way
    - Why and how more broker/owners should embrace teams for the benefit of the entire industry
    - A bit about books in general

At the end, she shares a cheapskate habit she picked up as a kid that she still practices today (tease: it involves ketchup packets).

    Implementing EOS

    Implementing EOS

We recently deployed an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) at our corporate offices. For those who've read the book Traction, this is the system on which the book is based.

A lot of great businesses use EOS to keep track of the team's progress and increase productivity. It is a framework for accountability and, ultimately, how to structure your business.

EOS helps to build a better leadership team, strengthen individual accountability, and achieve greater clarity, traction, and results. By consistently monitoring their team's progress and goals, leaders can make better decisions and grow their businesses.

When implemented fully, an EOS provides a reliable framework for running productive meetings, setting agendas, tracking to-do lists, and tracking responsibilities.

It is a great system of running a business where everybody is held accountable respectfully and gracefully, which we believe will be of great value to us.

Tune in to learn more about this system and how it fits into a fitness business.

    Key Takeaways

    Gaining Traction | Ep 5

    Gaining Traction | Ep 5

In this episode, we discuss gaining traction in your business.

Our inspiration comes from Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business by Gino Wickman.

Wickman says...Vision without traction is merely hallucination.

This is a fascinating book that cuts directly to the core of entrepreneurism.  No cute motivational speeches or inspirational messages.  This is book is one of the most “nuts and bolts” business books out there.  Gino Wickman speaks directly to business owners who have reached some level of success and now are looking to scale their business.

Join us today as we review the six key components of The Entrepreneurial Operation System.  When you take the time to explore each of these components in your sports enterprise, you will see areas for growth, areas that could be better defined, new ideas to employ, and a lot of opportunities to bring more efficiency and joy into your business.

Episode 17: Do New Year's Resolutions Work?

With the new year nearly here, many of us have set out to make New Year's Resolutions for ourselves. For us, there is often a tension between setting long-term goals yet allowing the Spirit of the Lord to direct our lives. Sure we can create plans, in terms of strategies, yet we have to be willing to have those morph into the purposes of God.

In this episode, we also discuss "The Ten Commandments of Solving Issues" as written by Gino Wickman, bestselling author of Traction. For example, "Thou Shalt Not Rule by Consensus", "Thou Shalt Fight for the Greater Good", and "Thou Shalt Take a Shot". Join us as we share and expand on these important topics in chronic pain!
