Gluten Free Brownies for Your Gluten Free Breakfast with Lynne Bowman

Do you know someone who loves talking about their age? In today's Travel Gluten-free Podcast, I'm excited to host Lynne Bowman, the author of Brownies for Breakfast, a Cookbook for Diabetics, and the People Who Love Them. Lynne shares with us why she loves talking about her age and her motivation for living a healthy lifestyle which drove her to write a cookbook.

Living a Healthy Gluten Free Lifestyle

Lynne looks much younger than her actual age. Her journey to living a healthy lifestyle started when she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Lynne shares with us what drove her to a gluten-free lifestyle despite not having any medical reasons to eat completely gluten-free.

    Writing a Gluten Free CookBook

Lynne talks about her motivation to write Brownies for Breakfast, a gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free cookbook that took her about three years to complete. Discover why the cookbook is an excellent resource, especially for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free eaters.

Food is like art; once you get the basic structure, you go along and discover your special treats. Lynne gives us a snippet of some unique recipes in her cookbook that use basic and simple ingredients for preparing healthy meals and snacks.

Lynne also takes us through her cookbook's different chapters, from deserts to cooking for company and family supper. We also discuss some healthy alternative ingredients such as alternatives to corn starch and many more.
