    S1EP179 Transitions Can Be Tricky

    S1EP179 Transitions Can Be Tricky

Hello! I'm so happy to be getting back into a better routine again!

I was really hoping to share some amazing health-related news with you, but I'm still a bit off balance from the summer months...

But I'm still here for you, and decided I can still share something you can use during any time of change.

The focus needs to shift from what you don't want to what you DO want. Or at least I would be, but the transitions can be tricky...

Ride Life's Waves Like The Ocean

Ride Life's Waves Like The Ocean

You’re not imagining it.  Stress is making us anxious and it is effecting our thoughts, feelings, and physical bodies.  Psychotherapist, John Tsilimparis, is back to explain the importance of identifying/managing stress and understanding how anxiety effects each of us differently.  And, gives us a simple stress test ( a great tool – really) that we can take anytime to tell us the truth about our stress and its affects.  Building emotional resilience is the key to adapting to change and going with the tide.  We must choose to be like to ocean to ride every wave of life.

60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday: Go With the Flow Like Frazil Ice

60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday: Go With the Flow Like Frazil Ice

Hello to you Tania Marien of Talaterra listening in Riverside, California!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday with your host, Diane Wyzga.

The surging, churning, stopping, starting, and redirecting you’re experiencing right here right now in this YouTube video recorded in Yosemite National Park is Frazil Ice.

The frazil ice flow is one of the most dynamic and dramatic natural phenomena of March and April. How is it possible that tiny crystals of frozen mist in waterfalls can create millions of gallons of a lava- like slurry called frazil ice? And yet, it happens! Once a year - in Yosemite - to herald Spring!

What does this have to do with Motivate Your Monday? Two things: if you feel like the start to your day is slow and sludgy getting you nowhere, go with the flow; like frazil ice re-route your direction and keep on going. And, if you need a break while contemplating a re-direct sitting with natural beauty is often good for what ails you. Guaranteed!

You’re invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, I hope you’ll subscribe, share a nice shout out on your social media or podcast channel of choice, including Android, Amazon Music and Audible and join us next time! White Water Woman

    White Water Woman
This story starts on the Madawaska River, this river, as with many, flows out of Algonquin Park, wild in its natural state and after 240 km it joins the Ottawa River. Algonquin Park is the headwaters to many rivers as it is the highest point of land in Ontario. For 50 years now, this river and this forest have been our guest's home . The Algonquin and Anishinabek people have lived here for millennia. They now hold the responsibility to ensure it will continue to thrive for future generations. This watershed is their home, their work, their community and their playground. They teach how to work with the river, you cannot fight the currents, you need to work with it, learn how to place your boat to harness the energy for the water to do the work for you – it’s a gravity sport; thus equal for men & women, using the water - being one with the RIVER. The river is such a metaphor for life, we can learn to enter into the rapids and let the rapids and gravity move us along doing the work, or we just jump in and start paddling without regard for the flow of the current or the rapid’s force until slowly the energy we are expending exhausts us. It’s about letting the flow move you along. This is your ZEN or HAPPY moment. You find your zone, when paddling a river as there’s no space for other thoughts to enter your mind. The river is exhilarating, revitalizing and can provide a healthy distraction from our busy lives. Bringing more people into the RIVER World, our guest hopes to inspire, deepen and build people’s care and love for our environment. Let’s delve into it live, Thursday September 2nd at 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT.

Rain, snow...why do we get so upset about the weather?

Rain, snow...why do we get so upset about the weather?

Rain, snow...why do we get so upset about the weather? Could it be that it touches our wildside...a part of us that we are scared to access? We are not in control and when we have something that challenges our control ..it means that to living with rather than trying to control. Weather challenges us to "Go with the flow." It's a wonderful chance to explore how we can do that. So, weather can be an amazing tool.
Our problem is not the weather, it's something within us...let's explore.

Why 2021 is so powerful, it is bringing in the Age of Aquarius... so powerful and important. This is the greatest time of change for 800 years. New beginnings, everything is changing

Why 2021 is so powerful, it is bringing in the Age of Aquarius... so powerful and important. This is the greatest time of change for 800 years. New beginnings, everything is changing

Why 2020 winter solstice, which is brining in the Age of Aquarius is so powerful and important. The convergence of planets is happening now, is the most powerful in 800 years. . New beginnings, for everyone and everything, everything is changing. Taking time during this time to look at our life and where we want to go, even if it doesn't seem that we have choices right now we can change our life to what we want.

This is the time during the massive changes that are happening all around us on the planet, when we can change our life. It's an end of a cycle and it brings with it new beginnings. We are facing the beginning of a new life within our life. A new life in the Universe.
