    Einer Legende nach ist das Dorf Lokpoou im Regenwald von Guinea das Zuhause eines schrecklichen Gottes – doch einige Dorfbewohner wollen dem liebenden Gott Jesus nachfolgen. Dafür mussten sie von den Bewohnern des Ortes brutale Strafen erleben und Lokpoou verlassen. Unser Mitarbeiter hat das Dorf besucht und mit Christen, aber auch mit dem Medizinmann des Dorfes gesprochen. Dies ist sein Bericht.

We discuss what it’s like to be rescued on the sea, his missing family members who he fears drowned in Dec 2017 and his prospects for work in Italy.

    I first heard about Alpha Bah from an introduction by Michael Rain. Alpha is the creator of ZNews Africa, an Android app that provides the latest news content from across Africa.

    We spoke about how he got the inspiration to create ZNews Africa, what he's learned from his time at Columbia University, and the importance of creating platforms for Africans to tell their stories.
