There are so many aspects to look after when you are going throw a divorce. You can easily neglect one or two. When you look at the to-do list it can be overwhelming and usually you can not handle everything by yourself and this is why you ask for help. The tricky part here is, we tend to focus on what we 'think' we can handle and may only ask for a piece of advice on what looks complicated to us from the wrong set of people.
